You HAVE to take this quiz! It is very eye-opening... I could NOT remember the name of the 7th dwarf to save my life but I was right on some that I didn't think I'd be. It was kinda fun!!

ABSOLUTELY NO CHEATING ALLOWED!!!!!!!!!
The average person only gets 7 correct.

This is based on U.S. info, so use all lobes of your brain. This can be more difficult than it looks - it just shows how little most of us really see!

There are 25 questions about things we see every day or have known about all our lives. How many can you get right? These little simple questions are harder than you think.

Put your thinking caps on. No cheating! No looking around! No getting out of your chair! No using anything on or in your desk or computer!

Can you beat 23?? (The average is 7) Write down your answers as you go. Check answers (on the bottom), AFTER completing all the questions.

REMEMBER - NO CHEATING!!! BE HONEST!!! That means no looking at your phone or anything on your desk...

LET'S JUST SEE HOW OBSERVANT YOU REALLY ARE.

Here we go!

1. On a standard traffic light, is the green on the top or bottom?

2. How many states are there in the USA ? (Don't laugh, some people don't know)

3. In which hand is the Statue of Liberty 's torch?

4. What six colors are on the classic Campbell 's soup label?

5. What two numbers on the telephone dial don't have letters by them?

6. When you walk does your left arm swing with your right or left leg? (Don't you dare get up to see!)

7. How many matches are in a standard pack?

8. On the United States flag is the top stripe red or white?

9. What is the lowest number on the FM dial?

10. Which way does water go down the drain, counter or clockwise?

11. Which way does a "no smoking" sign's slash run?

12. How many channels on a VHF TV dial?

13 On which side of a women's blouse are the buttons?

14. Which way do fans rotate?

15 How many sides does a stop sign have?

16. Do books have even-numbered pages on the right or left side?

17 How many lug nuts are on a standard car wheel?

18. How many sides are there on a standard pencil?

19. Sleepy, Happy, Sneezy, Grumpy, Dopey, Doc. Who's missing?

20. How many hot dog buns are in a standard package?

21 On which playing card is the card maker's trademark?

22 On which side of a Venetian blind is the cord that adjusts the opening between the slats?

23. There are 12 buttons on a touch tone phone. What 2 symbols bear no digits?

24. How many curves are there in the standard paper clip?

25. Does a merry-go-round turn counter or clockwise?

When you are all done, you can check your answers here...

Were you surprised or what?

I thought it was fairly easy.

On Question 4, I got one color wrong.

On Question 7, I initially thought the right answer, but then changed it.

On Question 12, I got it right, but for the technicality.

Question 16 I got straight up wrong.

On Question 17 I initially thought the right answer, but went with a different answer.

Question 19 - no clue

Question 21 needed more specification than I gave.

Question 22 I got wrong.

So I got 8 wrong at most, but for a few of those 8 I wasn't far off the mark.

I missed too many because I second guess myself. I had the correct answers to some of them, but then doubted myself and put the wrong answer.

4. I totally missed "black"
7. no clue
11. and I smoke!
12. no clue
13. had it right then 2nd guessed myself.
15. again, I 2nd guessed myself.
18. got it totally wrong

25. totally depends on which way you spin it

Cool quiz, YFIS

I got 10 wrong which means I got 15 right. ( The cup is half full hee hee )

Honestly though I would have gotten 11 wrong had I not cheated and asked my husband how many lug nuts there are on a car wheel.

Two of those questions that I had to count as wrong, I got half of the question right - the phone question ( I got the # right ) and the campbell soup can. I thought it was green and not blue. Serves me right for concentrating on eating the soup instead of studying the can. LOL

But I did remember Bashful

This test would be difficult for non- Americans, Moonie and T/G but you guys did great. Better than most Americans if the average is only 7 correct answers.

You both did as good as I did.

That was a fun brain-teaser, YFIS

Missed 8…..

Apparently I’m woefully lacking in knowledge about –

3. The Statue of Liberty
4. Campbells soup cans
7. matchbooks
9. FM radio stations
11. No Smoking signs
19. animated dwarves
20. playing cards
25. merry-go-rounds
I could have SWORN it was clockwise – and I had to get out the pictures of my munchkin riding one to prove it!!

I didn't have to cheat on the lug-nuts, Mirandee -- my Dad wouldn't let me drive when I was a teen until I could change a tire all by myself
