Yes its gonna be one of "those" posts again ppl Lol!

Keeping aside all you mullet folks (sorry guys; Friends don't let friends keep mullets Lol!) guys know that long hair just has the cool vibe factor to it. It just kinda adds on to the masuline wild, untamed persona (or if done wrong, could land you a part in the Adams Family as the next Cousin It.) However, with that image comes the price of heafty maintinence (and I just don't mean a bottle full of Herbal Essense boyos... Oh yeah, I know you use it! Don't deny it!)

Stereotypically speaking; Is it just me or the opposite sex has this fasination with long hair? And not just their own mind you.

I.e. consider the following conversation at my workplace:

Female employee 1: Long hair looks very nice on you.

Me: Thankyou. Yeah its a killer to wash and maintian though.

Female Employee 2: Really? What Shampoo do you use?

Me: Head & Shoulders. It does the job.

Female Employee 1: That stuff smells wierd. And its too harsh on the hair folicles.

Female Employee 3: I wish my hair was that dark and full. Do you wanna donate yours?

Me: *Laughing* I think its already occupied for a worthy cause .

Female Employee 2: You know what you need? A hairclip.

Me: No I don't.

Female Employee 2: Oh comeon! I got a very nice cute one here; Its got a heart on it as well.

Me: I rather get shot at.

Female Employee 2: Chicken **** !

Me: You know... I could always run the performance reports on you gals right now...

They: *Silence.*

Lol! And it continues.

And just the other night during me and my girl's "happy" hours, she nearly yanked my scalp clean off my skull! I kid you not.

Me: *Profanity galore.* GIRL! WTH?! OWWW!

Her: Well I need something to run my fingers through.

Me: Yeah! and I suppose scalping in the new "it" thing for couples these days? BTW: Remind my to get you a membership with the downtown Judo Dojo. Man sweets, you got some arm!

and so and and so forth.

Gotta say girls, you think giving birth is bad? Surviving hair pullings and scratches during a night of passionate expressions is quite the feat as well LOL! But that's for another day's post.

I have 4 feet of hair, my beloved has over 3 feet.
I cannot understand why folks think it is so hard to take care of.

One simply washes and lets dry.

No fancy hair stuff required.

Any shampoo will do....
I use White Rain or Suave.

And Shine to detangle...before washing!

If you wash in the shower it will not tangle.

As far as when making mad passionate love....
.....
Never had any problems with it getting in the way.

Braiding is recommended for sleeping however, or Celtic/Greek leather/suede hair bindings.

PS. I do not see your hair as long.
If it does not touch the shoulders, or be able to hide the ears, in my opinion one is a shorthair.

You are very handsome though despite being a shorthair.

PPS...I got the "Cousin It" remarks when I was younger and thin.
I even used it as a Halloween costume before I decided on having bangs/fringe.
I just let it down all around and there I was...the perfect natural Cousin IT!

Actually, it has made it past the ears now; on its way to shoulder length but not quite there yet.

And I don't think I might let it go that long; Its just gonna get even more of a hastle trying to maintain. I am the 10-12 min shower guy Lol! But now, it takes additional 4 more mins. trying to tame the pelt so to speak Lol! and 4 mins. makes a huge difference when catching the bus on time *Le Sigh.*

AAhhhh...it is at that unruly stage where it has a way of its own! Yeah, at that length taming the mane is required! You are most likely very delicious/sexy looking that way though!

Skip a washing every so often to let the natural oils build up. It gives your locks a swingy, healthy weight to it. Give your hair and scalp a good brushing. It does a couple of things: distributes the oils and toughens up your scalp.

Men with hair down to or below their shoulders are sex-ay.

Thank You!
I look pretty good considering my weight and age.
I could look far worse!
I hope to get that weight off but being disabled for two decades makes it hard.

You never saw a pic of my mane?

And yeah...you are definitely gorgeous!

I have long hair too and if I'm not careful getting out all of the tangles and knots
I'll wake up with dreadlocks.

I am totally with you on that one! LOL
It is easier this way.(much! much easier!)

And yes, I always get people asking me how do I have such a nice hair or what kind of shampoo I use, what they don't understand is that shampoo is like deodorant, there is a specific one for a specific person, you just have to find the right one for you, and yes, cheap is totally one of the choices. And never use the same bottle over and over, have a couple brands you like and switch everytime you finish one.

*If you dye your hair though I don't know what to tell you because I have never done that to mine.

But going back to the thread, I LOVE man with long hair, my weakness.
