Okay so Mr Gem and I are going to Australia at the end of the week! We have friends to stay with for a while, BUT we're also on the lookout for housesitting or a 'work for accommodation'-type deal in somewhere like a motel or lodge... no farmstays or anything like that as we want to be near to or in a city. So... this is a long shot, but does anybody here know of anything?

Well there is always the "Host/Guest" option . http://globalfreeloaders.com/newuser.php?lang=EN The catch is that you need to become a host yourself for other travelers who might be arriving at your place. Just thought I put this option up. IP: Logged |

I know this is totally irrelevant and not helpful but my Mr. Gem also gave me a speech of how he wants to go to Australia as well so I would also like to know. Xodian - i heard of that website, people say its not bad. IP: Logged |

Thanks Xodian! I'm already a member, and had no luck so far. We're also members of housecarers.com and just signed up with helpx.net ...IP: Logged |
