Oh yes.. Bear the Leo and I have been living here since October (well, technically Bear got here in August) and now we found out that we will be moving to another post 100 miles Southeast of Schweinfurt. We got the news two days ago and it went official today. Now we just need to find out the exact date (the orders should be coming in any time from next week to the end of the month). The good news is that the Army will move us and we'll get to house hunt together (even though Bear found this awesome house on his own) plus the whole Brigade is moving so we'll still have friends out there. The shopping is also 100 times better than here on post. We are lucky to have meat in our commissary two days after it is delivered and our PX (like a dept store) is tiny. The Post we are moving to has the biggest Comm and PX in Europe- YAY.. oh and we won't be far from Prague. The bad news- we really like our landlords / friends. It is going to be hard breaking the news to them and I don't want to do it until we have our orders in hand. It appears that we may be moving within the next 30-60 days depending on housing. LOL..Man... we JUST finished unpacking everything with the exception of a couple of totes. LOL.. gotta love the Army I'm excited (I am always excited about moving) and I am happy there will be more job opportunities. Everything has been frozen here because the officials knew about the move but we weren't in the know until now. LOL.. ------------------ Loving it in Deutschland with my sexy Bear :D IP: Logged |

Thank you Zala.. I think we're really going to need it. Especially when it comes to finding a new place that's as good at this. IP: Logged |

They say the military is ruled by mars/aries...but I think with all the movement and traveling that goes on there is definitely an emphasis on 9th house energy...IP: Logged |

Definitely, BRI think that due to all the moving from place to place in the military all military men should marry Sag women. They most definitely should not marry a Taurus or a Cancer. Will be fun house hunting together, Pid and I hope you find a house you like even better. IP: Logged |

That's really interesting, Mirandee. I'm a Sag and we've moved 4 times in the past 4 years, lol. Can't say it bothers me much though in the future I'm sure I'll worry about our child(ren) not having deep, deep roots in one place. I also think there is a strong Uranian influence in military life ... the "unexpected" aspects that can affect you and everything and/or everyone around you are even more surprising in such a rigidly structured and demanding world. Not to mention those Plutonian or 8th house issues we don't like to muse upon too often. IP: Logged |

Thank you all . We are looking forward to the move. The truth be told, as much as we love this house, we have noticed alot of weird activity. No matter how many times we smudge the place, there seems to be something dark in and around it. The two renters before us went crazy and even threatened our landlords baby when she was pregnant. The cats often watch things that aren't there. I have laid out salt, which ends up being moved or gone altogether. Bear has noticed little things as well, especially the number of times we end up with major head colds and coughing (we think there may be mold in the house). Even though we lived in a very active part of Bisbee (which attracts ghost hunters and hippies all the same time LOL) it never seemed dark like here. Once we smudged and laid out the salt there were no problems. That is not the case here.. so maybe it is a great thing we're leaving LOL.. As to Saggies married to the Military? Ironically many of my friends and those ladies on our forum that seem to really stick it out and embrace the moves are Saggies or have a strong Archer influence. I can name at least 6 people off the top of my head that are Archers and they have all enjoyed the challenges. It's really great
The Army b-day (I'm not totally sure about the Airforce Eleanore but I am going to look it up- I know they branched off from the Army Air Corps but should we look at the date it was actually created as the Air Force?) The Army was created on June 14, 1775 as the Continental Army in Philadelphia, PA. In 1784 it became the US Army but the Army considers the June 14, 1775 date as the creation date and celebrates the bday on June 14th every year. I can't find the exact time, but I picked 2pm because Congress never seems to do much before lunch time LOL...
This is the chart that I chose- To me it makes sense.. The Sun and Mercury are in the 9th house, Uranus and Jupiter is in the 8th house and Pluto is in the 4th house.
Travel, education, sudden endings- loss of life.. transformation constant in the house of home. What is your take on it?

Cool, Pid We actually have an army birthday chart. Maybe those who are good at reading charts ( definitely not me ) can tell us some things about the influences. Would be really interesting to hear those interpretations. quote: I can't find the exact time, but I picked 2pm because Congress never seems to do much before lunch time LOL...
