Have any of you ever had a child talk with you about reincarnation?

Last night as I was getting my seven-year-old son Daniel ready for bed, his mind was wide-awake!
Unexpectedly he said, “Mommy we never die, only our bodies do.” I asked him what he meant and he said, “We go home and if we want to come back here we have to get another body.” I was astounded at the simplicity of his words. I then asked him what home looked like and he said, “Do you know those planet things” and then he said,” never mind, I forget.”

My daughter has just turned four years of age and she decribes in great detail memories of a previous life using actual names, places, and situations she experienced.

These conversations with her usually begin with "remember when...." she seems confused that I myself don't have these memories at a fingers touch, LOL!

I dont have children, but i remember talking to my mother when i was younger about how "we get big and then little again." I thought everyone got old and at some point then grew backwards into becoming babies again. I was inwardly upset when she told me that wasnt so and thought it was funny. It shook my world. Then later on down the road I realized that in a way that is actually what happens.
