i like being alone a lot. sometimes i dont think this is healthy.

i get lost with time when iam alone.

i think theres a article on cafeastrology that says about aquarian risings always looking outside thru the window.

I've never really been alone for more than a few hours. It's the truth. So I can't really relate to the feeling of lonliness and I can't really know how I would feel if I were alone for very long periods.

Sounds weird I know. But I was always with my sister and brother growing up and all of our mutual friends.

I met my soul mate very early in life, at the age of 12, and have always been with him. Then our kids and now my kids and grand kids and friends.

I honestly cannot say if I would like being alone or not. I honestly cannot relate to being alone. Having always been with others I am guessing I wouldn't handle it very well.

I do know that when I am left alone I like the peace and quiet and always find things to occupy myself with, and I like being alone with just my thoughts at times. But I don't think I would like it all the time.

I think that if you like being alone it is not unhealthy for you at all. What we like can't be unhealthy for us. It might be more unhealthy for you to be surrounded by others all the time. We are all different.

I like (need) alone time too, but if you're feeling isolated, maybe what you'd like is somebody around while you're alone.

I still feel like I'm getting time to myself, but I also feel the comfort and warmth of company when I'm doing my own thing (reading, writing, surfing the net, whatever) while my companions do their own thing.

No, we've all been there. Well, most of us have. What's transiting Saturn up to for you? That's the transit that brings those feelings on for me. I felt that way when t.Saturn was on my MC. Felt like I couldn't get out and others couldn't get in. I really feel for people who have that placement natally.

Edit: I just reread my post. I don't know if you've already read this, but I hope that "sucks to be you" comment didn't come across like I was mocking you. That's just the way I mock this whole human experience. At times, it sucks to be you, me, all of us. And we've just gotta keep going. So that's what I meant.

I agree with what both jane and The Evolution said.

I have also had that feeling of being alone even with others around me.

I can really relate to what you said Evolution. When there is a lot of noise and all around me I long to be alone and in quiet. Then when I am I miss having others around even with all the noise.

But I can also appreciate and enjoy my quiet times and use them for reflection and comtemplation.

It's like you said, Evolution, a balance is needed.

I am always alone... so you are not alone in the feeling of aloneness. I have about two friends. I isolate myself from people, rarely go out (aside from school and work), and change my number and intentionally fail to give it to friends. I often cut off relationships with people after I feel they have intentionally harmed me or I just don't like their lack of ambition, ideals and/or way of life. I think my idealistic nature plays into my loneliness but I don't mind it until days like today occur and I am on the verge of dropping out of college. I also think I have hobbies (painting, making jewelry, reading, cooking) that take up most of my time and do not call for company. Then again when I do make efforts in human interaction and actually having friends no one can understand my way of life, thoughts, ideals, ideas and/or philosophy. I hate it but then love it because I am that person who has no problem going to see a movie alone or eating alone at a restaurant. Even when I am in a group of friends I still feel no connection, despite many people feeling close to me. I seem to be the best friend to many people but I still feel I have no one to relate to or someone to understand me. Oh well.

Sorry for ranting but I think I understand and relate to your feelings of being alone.

And aloneness is not always lonely.
I have actually felt more lonely with
most (not all) people, than when alone.
Until we attain telepathy and empathy we will be alone, at least to some degree.
I happen to enjoy my own company.
Sounds like you do too.
