You are too cute!  I myself do not normally watch TV I will however take part in viewing this years 1/2 time show and the famous commercials! I always laugh at the ingenuity of the sponsors when it comes to commercials this time of year, LOL! *Thanks for the giggles ------------------

I won't watch the football game, I'll just check in for the 1/2 time show. I'd like to watch the Puppy Bowl.....that thing is so CUTE! Especially when they drink out of the water bowl! (they put a camera underneath the water bowl). IP: Logged |

What time is the Puppy Bowl on, Nephthys? I have never seen it and my grand kids would love to watch it too. They will all be here on Sunday. And yes, You are too cute!!!! I like watching the Super Bowl mainly for the commercials. They come up with some very funny ones. I love Tom Petty. My email address is named after his Recording Studio, Gonegator. Oh the heck with the half-time show (No offense intended to the masses on this thread offcourse  .) Comeon guys; If the patriots win this, they will be team of the century with an all win, no loss record. THAT is big! Lol! Anyway, its obvious that my house is gonna be packed and its just not the guys Lol! Its gonna be a full mixed ethnic/gender house on Sunday. I am already packing up the goodies for tomorrow. Xodian,WOW I did not know that about the Patriots! That is awesome! They are who I would want to win anyways......... Sounds like it is going to be a good game with lots of built up energy then! Sounds fun. I guess I can switch back and forth b/t the Puppy Bowl and the Super Bowl. I also have PIP which is "picture in picture" option on my TV. IP: Logged |

Oh every Super Bowl usually has the effect of bringing out the wild child in even the most timid of sports fan but this year its gonna be huge. Actually I wonder if there is a sort of tradition anyone here follows during every superbowl? Lol! Usually its just me, the bros and our girlfriends who watch it; Just us in our cozzy little house. I want the Pats to win for that reason and for a friend of mine, Xodian but with the Pats being a 12 point favorite to win, just imagine how many bucks we could rake in by betting on the Giants if they should somehow pull it off and win!!!! Anything can happen in the Super Bowl. One of the Giants players, the wide receiver, said that they would win by a score of 23 - 17. Brady, in reply to him said, " Do you really think we are only going to score 17 points? " LOL Doubtful since they are the highest scoring team in the NFL. But then again, didn't they only beat the Giants by 2 pts in the regular season? Hmmmmm. I have two sons who are sports nuts and my husband is a big football fan so that is how I know this stuff. Nephthys, I checked the cable guide and the Puppy Bowl is on here at 3:00 pm. Good!! Otherwise we wouldn't be able to watch it. Normally we have homemade chili for the Super Bowl but if the boys make it I can't eat it because it burns out my throat and my stomach.  Enjoy your Super Bowl bash, Xodian. Sounds like fun. Are you going to gag the women? LOL I know I am not allowed to speak during a football game, much less the Super Bowl.

Xodian is a guy? Wow, I have no idea who is male/female here unless they have an obvious gender revealing name. I have never been able to keep up with who is who here  I have to look up what time the Puppy Bowl starts here as well. Is kick off at 3:30? So that means 1/2 time will be about 5:30-ish, correct? The Puppy Bowl would be 3:00 pm EST for me, Nephthys.The Super Bowl starts around 5:00 pm here I think. But that is pre-game. Kick off is at 6:00 pm EST. Xodian, We ladies may like the game of football and we may know the rules and plays but, mostly we like to see those guys in those tight pants and we all secretly dream of being centers.
