Yeah! Congratulations to Manning and his team!! I was supporting them throughout the game. I love it when underdogs wins
Winning the toss was extremely crucial too (well its a scientific law LOL)

It was a good game to watch. I was yelling and my dogs were getting scared. I liked New England but for no real reason other than they always do well.IP: Logged |

I don't see the point in competitiveness at all. It's ok for a bit of light-hearted fun but when it becomes obsession/ aggression (as football has over here), it just makes me sigh. We're all equal. Now how about some music and poetry? IP: Logged |

Well, how about COMPETITIVE poetry that declares one's precieved supremecy LTT? Lol!I was here but now I am gone I left my name to carry on Those who knew me knew me well Those who didn't, go to hell! Lol! I joke I joke. I really want people to start playing football during their leasure time to see just how much co-operation and team work it requires. Offcourse its aggressive and physical; No doubt about that but anything taken to the extreme can become an unhealthy obsession. That includes spiritual fanatisism.
Already posted my reply to the disappointing loss of the Pats in the Pat vs. NY thread. But as I said, NY deserves that cup. They played amazingly well. IP: Logged |

>>>Now how about some music and poetryFootball is a contact sport. Not just contact but collision sport. It is not a game for the sheep's but for the bulls. Its a game that requires both brain and brawn. The Giants were the underdogs. If you bet a 100 on 'em then you could have made 450. Dogs, Dogs, poor Dogs. Were you more scared of your owner's yells or by the creatures in the million dollar commercials. IP: Logged |

I'm still wondering about the Patriots spying earlier this year. Was that noteworthy, or was that something that all the teams do?IP: Logged |

I wouldn't count it towards their overall victory but I will say that it probably boosted NYG team morale. I would credit NYGs victory over the fact that the Pats probably just counted them off as small-fries and probably thought it would be an easy victory considering Eli is a rookie compared to his brother. And since the Pat's D line has been unstoppable throughout the season, they probably weren't expecting the NYG's O line to put up an amazing defense as they did in the Superbowl. For those who watched the game, notice the Pat's D line was was tired out right at the end of the first quarter. By the end of the game, they stood solid but their Blitzes weren't effective enough to get to Eli. And man, the credit does goes to Eli for escaping three D line guys and throwing the ball! I looked at that escape and just went "HOLY SH**!" IP: Logged |

The Patriots took them seriously......the Giants defense was too much for the Patriots offense line and was constantly hitting Brady and not letting him have time to throw. They really rattled him. As you know, the quarterback can't do anything without a competent offense line and receivers. There was also sloppy tackling....a good tackle is when you go for the legs...you don't take somebody down by grabbing the shirt which Patriots did with Manning. They should have went for his legs. They didn't,he was able to get away like Michael Vick got away from the Green Bay Packers playoff game. The Patriots should have tried for the field goal on 4th and 13 and not pass.
They should have thrown to Moss more. Moss was showing some of his true colors too. They should have not blitzed on the go ahead touch down play. They were good in the redzone. They should have used their typical redzone defense. The Giants are overall the better...the best team in NFL. Bill Belichek showed poor sportmanship by leaving field with 1 second to play.
Eli Manning deserves the MVP. His brother,Peyton is very proud of him.
He's a force to be reckon with. He deserved to be the top pick of the NFL draft. IP: Logged |

Good point. They say "Defense wins the Superbowl" and the Giants certainly proved that last night. Gosh Brady got sacked way too many times and not to mention the fact that even after he manages to throw the ball, the O-line just couldn't hold the defense off and Brady was still getting pounded. Oh and I certainly agree with the 4th down "go" call instead of getting the field goal. What was Bill Belichick thinking?! IP: Logged |

Apparently from the outcome of the game if the Pats were spying they are just about as good at gathering intelligence as our CIA, AG LOL IP: Logged |

I had briefly stopped watching, because I didn't want to see NY lose. I looked up, when I heard all the cheers around me. I was like "Go ELi, go!" and flying out of my chair. It was so awesome, Eli is brillant. I used to think american football was silly. I fell in love once I sat down and watched a complete game. I love the stategy and passion of the game. IP: Logged |
