This has got to be the cutest animal ever.

It's eyes are HUGE!!!! Supposedly the species has lived relatively unchanged for over 45 million years. Now that's a well adapted species, and cute too!!! Hopefully they'll make it through this "human crisis."

Description

Tarsiers are small animals with enormous eyes and very long hind limbs. Their feet have extremely elongated tarsus bones, from which the animals get their name. The head and body range from 10 to 15 cm in length, but the hind limbs are about twice this long (including the feet), and they also have a slender tail from 20 to 25 cm long. Their fingers are also elongated, with the third finger being about the same length as the upper arm. Most of the digits have nails, but the second and third toes of the hind feet bear claws instead, which are used for grooming. Tarsiers have very soft, velvety fur, which is generally buff, beige, or ochre in color.[2]

Unlike other prosimians, tarsiers have no tooth-comb, and their dental formula is also unique:

It looks a little scary to me.

Okay, maybe a cute kind of scary.

It looks like a rodent with very big eyes and I have a thing about rodents. So I would probably be afraid to hold it.

Did you add another picture, BR ?

I looked at this earlier this evening and don't recall the picture with the Gecko hanging out the Tarsier's mouth. Okay, now I am totally grossed out.

Nope didn't add a picture. You know these img files bug out sometimes based on whatever site they're posted on.

AWWW! He's so cute! I bet he's soft to touch. And as far as the gecko is concerned, you can't help what a guy looks like when he's interupted whilst eating his dinner can you?
