this is damn accurate. it changes each time you do it though (or to me at least) so it's a "personal test"...

Happy Belated B-day praecipua! You are both Paisley and Purple!
And my reading was dead on.
I remember those color squares from a companion book some years back. They had the squares on perforated paper and you separated them, and when done replaced them to a 'holding' envelope in the back of the book. I got it at the library and every patron who checked it out left all of the cards.

This part was dead-on:

"Your Restrained Characteristics ~

Distressed by the obstacles with which she is faced and is no mood for any form of activity or for further demands on her. Needs peace and quiet, and the avoidance of anything which might distress her further."

Can I just leave for Tahiti tomorrow, please Universe??

How come no one posted their results? I am an open book. Nuts and bolts and all. LOL

So here are my results.

Your Existing Situation

Imaginative and sensitive; seeking an outlet for these qualities--especially in the company of someone equally sensitive. Interest and enthusiasm are readily aroused by the unusual or the adventurous.

Your Stress Sources
Wants to overcome a feeling of emptiness and to bridge the gap which she feels separates herself from others. Anxious to experience life in all its aspects, to explore all its possibilities, and to live it to the fullest. She therefore resents any restriction or limitation being imposed on her and insists on being free and unhampered.

Your Restrained Characteristics
Believes that she is not receiving her share--that she is neither properly understood nor adequately appreciated. Feels that she is being compelled to conform, and close relationships leave her without any sense of emotional involvement.
Willing to become emotionally involved and able to achieve satisfaction through sexual activity, but tries to avoid conflict.

Your Desired Objective
Seeks success, stimulation, and a life full of experience. Wants to develop freely and to shake off the shackles of self-doubt, to win, and to live intensely. Likes contacts with others and is enthusiastic by nature. Receptive to anything new, modern, or intriguing; has many interests and wants to expand her fields of activity. Optimistic about the future.

Your Actual Problem
Fights against restriction or limitation, and insists on developing freely as a result of her own efforts.

Your Actual Problem #2
The fear that she might be prevented from achieving the things she wants leads her to play her part with an urgent and hectic intensity.

That existing situation kind of reads like an ad for a single's dating site. In fact it all kinds of reads like that.

I adore cats, praecipua. Have two of them.

That one in the picture is very cute. Reminds me of my cats, Zeke and Max. They always roll over on their backs and act all cute when I talk to them. They eat up that baby talk. LOL

Awwwwww, that video of the two kitties cuddling is just so precious.

That was very interesting Node. I only have one color in my wardrobe that they mention. But it feels good everytime I wear it.

oops, thank you node, i hadn't seen your post, i was too busy trying to get the picture and the link working together..

anyway, thanks for the link, it's cool. i didn't know about my color, i like purple but i'm not sure about the paisley. i googled it and found some pattern called paisley but i'll have to dig deeper to know what it is exactly.

if what i found is what they mean by paisley, well, it's a nice pattern but.... a bit old fashion to me....

and thanks again for my Birthday (you guys have been really nice to me, thank you so much)

Re: Paisley-
Well being an guy, you would probably be more interested in a modern use for the motif->
Paisley became popular again in the late 1980s/early 1990s particularly with African-American gangs, the Bloods and the Crips, when, respectively, red or blue paisley bandannas were worn as a signifier of gang affiliation. Thus in modern times, paisley bandannas are often (but not always) used as a signifier of gangland affiliation, particularly in contemporary rap videos by the likes of Snoop Dogg and The Game.
Researching birthday colors on the Colorstrology site, reading Michele Bernhardt's spiritually flavored interps, have added to my useless factoid bank.
I now know about Paisley Scotland, textiles, the significance of the teardrop shape...etc.
My brother and another guy were both born on 2/11 so, Aqua's have a special place in my because well...they are special.
Thanks for posting that site.

Some of it hot way close to home.

Especially this:

quote:
Feels that life has far more to offer and that there are still important things to be achieved--that life must be experienced to the fullest. As a result, he pursues his objectives with a fierce intensity that will not let go of things. Becomes deeply involved and runs the risk of being unable to view things with sufficient objectivity, or calmly enough; is therefore in danger of becoming agitated and of exhausting his nervous energy. Cannot leave things alone and feels he can only be at peace when he has finally reached his goal.
