i just wanted to pass on the word that chanel cosmetics has developed shades for women of color. I'm using one of their foundations (and powder), and i seem to be the only one of people I know, who knows about this development. The reason being that it took so long to develop more shades was because in foundation makeup, its the undertone and the fleshtone that has to match, and so it takes more time to develop colors with more depth, rather than beige, naturel, or clair. The new shades are soft honey, walnut, cedar, and chestnut. These shades are available in Teint Innocence Fluid (natural finish), Vitalumiere Fluid Makeup (satin finish), and Mat Lumiere Fluid Makeup (soft matte finish), and the first 2 shades are also available in teint innocence compact makeup. You can check them out at chanel.com or go straight to http://uma.chanel.com/home.php Its best if you find your nearest chanel counter (through Store Locator at the bottom of the page) to have the sales associate help you in finding your shade, so that you can also find a matching powder. once you try it, tell me what you think, if not, tell me why you'd rather not try it.
