The use of shock imagery is nothing new in the Canadian ad campaigns but some people are questioning as to if the recent Workplace Saftey Awareness campaign is way too blatent on its approach in tackling the problem?
A few ads (warning: Content maybe distrubing to some viewers.)

Personally, these ads are ment to show the severity of the concequences that can happen due to poor saftey conditions and they haven't overstepped their bounds in anyway. The truth is shocking and it is ment to be that. Toning it down doesn't helps the public see the potential problem.
