I don't know a lot about it either. The American Embassy? I believe that their are various requirements for a visa, such as status and qualifications. (Wouldn't it be great if for once we could be judged for who we are, not what we are?).IP: Logged |

Thanks. I could go with qualifications but dont have much work experience with regards to that. I thought about the American Embassy but they would probably think I was weird if I had to explain why I wanted to go to America. ( NOT terrorism or anything like that).IP: Logged |

I don't think that they would think you are weird (unless you are leaving some place that they consider heavenly).IP: Logged |

Well, Student Visas, Tourist Visas... it's all a bunch of Buerocratic poppycock...I work with a woman from Lithuenia who was able to travel quite freely back and forth on a fiancee visa... But I suppose you would have to have an American fiancee for that... Anywho, I would definately check the American Embassy. Look into fields of work that we are lacking over here (nursing or anything medical is always a good idea). Not sure what else you could do, but if you want it to happen, it will!! Good luck!! AG- I dont think that where I live, it is considered heavenly, far from it Ghan: That is partly why I wanna move to America, something along the lines of fiance/fiancee ( whichever it is) but I don't want to really discuss about it on here. IP: Logged |

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis At the top left there is an area with "New to U.S. Immigration?" and just below you can click on the text "Learn about visiting the U.S. temporarily as a visitor (tourist, student, or worker) or permanently." There are many categories, so hopefully you'll see something that suits you.And the local American Embassy should be able to give you help as well as forms. You will eventually have to spill the beans on your situation, but you really don't need to worry about an embassy worker finding you weird. Believe me, they have heard every possible situation! Good luck with everything and I hope it works out for the best. IP: Logged |
