Is Moseyed even a word? Mosied? At any rate....So, a quick update and a hello to my lovely friends... I hope you've been well! My year(s) has been busy.. I am back to work and the kids are awesome.. just awesome!!! I got a new computer and all my links went kablewy (a penchant for odd words today apparently) So I have no cool astrology links or anything saved.. I'll get back into it when my time is more my own... My newest son will be one next month. He honours me every day just by being him and learning new things. He's a real barnacle.. always has been and I like it that way as he's my last. And it's official. *snip snip if you know what I mean* I just got Lasik the other day and omigosh!!!!! I can seeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! Pretty humbling and I won't take it for granted. No glasses/contacts for me. To wake up in the morning see the alarm clock! ....and only brush my teeth before my shower instead of fumbling, bleary eyed for the contacts which sometimes felt awful and scratchy.... what a blessing it has been. I am still healing but it has been a week... and I have 20/20 vision. I used to come on here and occasionally question where I was in my life... I can't tell you how much it helped me to have my special friends here to help me through that process... and though I will always question some things, and of course I am always learning.. I have to say, I don't have the wandering soul anymore. I am so fulfilled and happy. This is where I belong, and I make my own destiny by following destiny. It is a conscious choice. I didn't read books to help me to that, I followed the river, and it spun me around a whole bunch.. but it led me gently to the shores of my home, after almost drowning me.
So while I can now physically see, I can spiritually see as well. Not to say I am always happy.... I still have 15 extra pounds of pregnancy weight on me!! Not cool when you consider he is almost a year old... *hangs head in shame* Man.... turning thirty, then thirty one really does a number on your metabolism.. do not take it for granted. I know there is so much more and it will melt off when the weather allows and this cling on baby allows me to get out some more.... so I am not terrible depressed about it. But it remains on the agenda. Hmmm... I dunno.. That's an update, right? Thanks for reading. Much love to you, dear reader. IP: Logged |

AG, I saw that you asked on the other thread if it was free? yeah right.. No Canadians still have to pay for that and dental, if your company's insurance doesn't pay it... But the story behind it is a synchronistic one. My Opa died a few years ago and they recently sold his house. Originally the grandchildren were not included in the inheritance just his boys.... but my uncle generously donated the portion he was to receive on his executors fee to each grandchild.. so .... I thought hard about it.. I NEVER do things for me, especially not lately.. and it was hard to not spend it on kitchen cabinets or other things.. paying bills etc... but this was something I had always said.. Ïf I have an extra two grand, this is what I'd do.. and I was given that opportunity.. so I did it. The pieces fell together beautifully. So if there is ever something you say; "I will do this if..." you just might get your chance to fulfill it.

It is moseyd Lol! And that update will do... But don't you wanna stay and play ? This place lacks Canadian influence Lol! I have been trying to dash a splash of Maple Syrup here and there but I am running out.Sweet! You got Lasik surgery! I am still stuck with contacts unfortunately though I don't mind em much. Actually I haven't had stigmitism problem with them at all. Lol! I'll gladly take your 15 pounds. Me all shrimpy these days and it ain't good. But if you're really worried about it, you can try a few crunches during your free time . It works wonders. Hope ya post more often Pixel. IP: Logged |

Awesome! Too bad it wasn't free, but it's cool that you got the opportunity. I think I'd be the same way. I'm always putting other needs before my own, but sometimes you've just got to do something for yourself. IP: Logged |

Pixie!!! I checked out your bubbas pictures and he is GORGEOUS!! And yes, as 26 said, he looks just like you! It's the cheeks, the slender face and penchant for mischief I can see in them... I am so glad you have found balance. You have always been an amazing inspiration to a lot of people here, always willing to admit your humanity and be yourself. I wish I had time to say more, but I'm at work, so I really should, uh, work. Glad you're doing well, hope we see you around once in a while!! Ghani IP: Logged |

Hi glad to hear things are going well.Having 20/20 vision must be really nice, i'm considering getting the surgery when my vision stops changing. Was the surgery painful? Sounds like saturn return has left you with a spiritual grounding, something you can really sit on. That's wonderful! IP: Logged |

hi!! AG and Xodian, I've already said Hi to you two but again for good measure, hello and very good to 'see' youAzalaksh!!!! You sweet babe you! I miss your words Ghanima as I live and breathe! Are you back 'round these here parts? Thanx, I love that little bugger so much. Blue Roamer, well... it was scary! They give an Ativan before you go in, but I don't know.. you know more about the effects on the brain than I do, but I didn't feel any different! My vision hadn't changed in about four years.Perfect! I was so um.... anxious! After all, no matter how good the Doctor is, these are your eyes! But i was committed to it. They walk you through the process...and do a lot of pre tests and repeat them with different Drs just to be sure!!! Pressure, vision, health etc... I didn't like the pre-surgery.. they 'tape' your eyelashes back and then hold your eye in place with a clockwork orange type thing (thankfully I didn't have to see it)and anesthetize your eye with drops.. then the keratome device which cuts a circle in your cornea, in a flap (you don't feel it, it's just a weird suction/pressure) .. then the laser... the whole thing took less than two minutes per eye, the assistant even counted which I found helpful. It was scary though. freaky. but I did it and it was the best thing ever! Afterwards, I could see blurrily, but then My eyes HAD to close.. I could barely open them.... so I slept at home all afternoon.. when I woke up I could see. then gradually it got better and better! I had drops to use four times a day for five days.. then just lubricating drops. Amazing! Oh yes, things are awesome! Saturn was in my first house, I learned so much about personal growth I don't even feel like the same person! IP: Logged |

awesome! The whole idea of having my cornea carved out freaks me out. Then again the prospect of contacts and THEN reading glasses when I reach middle age isn't so hot either! Glad the procedure was a success for you. IP: Logged |

Pixie,I didn't get a chance to read everything here; I am right in the middle of midterms, but just wanted to say HI I am glad to see you. When Knowflakes slowly taper off and then are not seen for quite some time I being to worry so glad you're well. P.S. I hope to get Lasik one day. That would be great. I have very near vision and have to wear either contacts or glasses. P.S.S. Still cracking up that I am an ego-maniac! ROFL! IP: Logged |

But I know those reddish lion-locks will grow in soon enough What an adorable child ;-)) IP: Logged |

Oh yeah! I have some fantastic ones of Seas after a bath, wearing mommys shoes and a scarf, blowing me a kiss! He thought he was hilarious, and hammed it up more because I couldnt stop laughing! So incriminating! But with his fun personality he d probably just laugh about it!I took one of Claire in curlers the other day, getting ready for a special high school musical sleepover.. so funny! She did not want me to keep those pictures! muahahaha Is Mr CJs hair still on the auburn side....? Ells really looks reddish! Like I even compared it to a true red-head child today in a store and they looked the same!! I'm excited about that! IP: Logged |

Oh pix, what fun to have a redhead!! I don't have any real recent pics, but Master CJ's is very close in color to his mama's mane -- a little bit darker tho (as his father was 1/4 Native American)IP: Logged |
