As I was mentioning in another thread Microsoft is pushing C# XNA, which is compatable with the XBOX 360.

You'll need to download Visual C# Express 2005 from the following
http://www.microsoft.com/express/2005/download/default.aspx

And of course you'll need to download XNA Game Studio Express 1.0 from the following link
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=12ADCD12- 7A7B-4413-A0AF-FF87242A78DE&displaylang=en

Install Visual C# Express 2005 and then XNA game Studio Express 1.0

I'm using XNA 2.0, on my Quadcore desktop and my Laptop but you'll need visual studio 2005 and its not free.

Then install Visual C# 2005 Express and then XNA 1.O

Once both are installed open Visual Studio C#
and click file>new project and select either windows game, XBOX 360 game or the Space war's starter kit for windows or the space war's starter kit for the 360.

Its best to select the SpaceWar Starter kit to figure out all the game programing involved and how it works

Then select build>Build solution and then as soon as it says build completed on the bottom left, select Debug>run debug.

For XBOX 360 games you'll need to become a member of XBOX's Game Creators Club.

There is plenty of game samples on the web and code you can use.

Sorry. I expect my husband to change the lightbulbs. If he doesn't I sit in the dark until he gets home. If it's got a plug on it, it's his job. No way am I going to sit and write computer games.

But someone will understand this and appreciate it, so it deserves a bump.
