Today I finally managed to buy the the French Film, Amelie, starring Audrey Tautou, on DVD.
Everytime I watch the film I walk away feeling uplifted, no matter how I felt before I watched it. Even when I think of the movie, I feel estatic-I feel it is such a great movie to lift your spirits up.
One of my favourite movies of ALL time.

Cool, AG. It's amazing how things turn out. I have battled for years to find this movie and today I went to the music shop, walked straight to the DVD section and there it was, blinking at me

Fieryscales, I agree that Amelie is a wonderful film. I stayed in the Montmarte neighborhood when I visted Paris. It's a lovely place with little cobble stone streets, hills, quaint buildings, and shops.IP: Logged |

Yeah, I agree. I found Amelie by chance, just like Star Signs, and it definately got me through that day, I don't know what's so great about it but it just is!IP: Logged |
