have you heard of/used a mooncup? it made me enjoy my periods a lot more, goodbye sanitary towels/tampons, cramping during period, smells and dryness that you can get with tampons. its great for travelling, you only need to replace it every 7 years or so...loads more benefits too. boots sell themIP: Logged |

.Mooncup you say? K, just went peeking about and this thing is UK's secret. It ships worldwide however is not advertised here in the US at least here's the website to learn more -. clickity-click, LOL! As for the original question: I am one of those that is blessed with very short and easy periods. 3 days long and light flow, no cramping, energy drain, or psychotic episodes, LOL! So, while I won't necessarily say I enjoy my time of the month: I will say it doesn't make me cringe. Heee...heeee.... This cycle was obtained and cultivated not by by hereditary factors (mother and aunts have horrid periods) but rather by a careful listening to my body, dietary and excerise alterations. So I believe that anyone can also be stress free by making simple life changes. Ei: no salts day's 5-7 before cycle, red raspberry leaf tea days 1 & 2 of cycle, etc. IP: Logged |

MOONCUP? wow this looks great! i think you just changed my life. me i'm a period hater, i use tampons but for years i tried to find an alternative without success. once i even tried to use the "sea sponge" method, which is basically stuffing sea sponge up there. it's natural, and also i can use it over and over thus good for the environment etc. but i would really have to change it every few hours, and not practical unless i'm sitting at home all day for a week... ROFL with her... seriously though, when my menses return, I am getting that. We have it here in Canada too. I haven't been blessed with a period for many many many moons. ( I'm still nursing my little man)
