What's on your list?

The top name on mine has been crossed out as yesterday I went to see Neil Young play in Kent. As he came on the sun started to set, as I arrived home it started to arise on the next day (and my eyelids were drooping).

The next on my list is the Blind Boys of Alabama.

Oh, Neil Young, how lovely.

I want to see Tom Waits. I'd like it to be in a smoky seedy joint in New Orleans with me sitting on top of the piano. Not a big ask.

i should try and see all my friends bands play at least once. it occurred to me that although 70% of my friends are musicians, i've never bothered to see most of their live performances. what a terrible friend i am.

my first concert was the Rolling Stones when i was 8...

hey i love Tom Taits too, i have all of his albums on my itunes!

if i could, i'd go see Noir Desir...

writesomething, The Cure is great in concert. I recommend that one, and I mostly dislike concerts.

I'd really really like to see Elbow play. I missed them earlier this year when they played in San Francisco. I couldn't bring myself to sign on for a Thursday night concert. Good worker me.

Who else? James (The Band) would be cool.

David Bowie would probably be cool.

Maybe U2.

U2 and Elton John I would like to see.

The Rolling Stones really are the greatest show on Earth...I saw them while they were doing their Bridges to Babylon tour Nov '98 at Oakland Coliseum...

I'm with you, AG!!

Most assuredly, Bowie. U2 in Boston would be amazing, I'm sure...

I would really like to catch Spearhead and Michael Franti.... I would have loved to see Sinatra and Barry White.

I've been pretty lucky in this. I've seen Harry Connick Jr., Red Hot Chilli's in London, Phish, (most recently in Inglewood, right when they got back together), Dave Matthews in a little club ouside of Boston when I was about 12, Aerosmith in Boston... shows I will never forget.

I can't really think of anyone I am dying to see right now... OHHHH

Feist. Can't wait for that show!! Oh, and I guess, just because I wonder what it would be like, I would go to an Eminem show...

A-ha

The Killers

Muse

I've seen most of my favorites in concert already except for the above. The only other band I would have LOVED to have seen is Queen but obviously that won't happen.

I've seen The Cure three times and they rocked. 4 hour sets each time, awesome. One of them was a first date with someone special....awwww, good memories.

I'd also like to see the Tindersticks.

I would be happy to see Train and Beck. There are lots of others but these would be my top two at the moment.

Wow you all have been to some pretty amazing concerts!

When I was 12 then at 14 I saw Rick Springfield. On one of those nights Cory Hart opened for him ("I wear my sunglasses at night" lol)

A few years back my mom took me to see James Taylor for my b-day. I absolutely love his music. I took my son (now 16) who was 5 at the time) and he fell asleep on my lap lol. He wanted to go too because he knew the music from all the times I played it in the car. sooo cute! But I'd love to see him again.

I saw a couple of musicals that were great and I'd recommend them. One was Cats the other was Starlight Express which was a cool musical where the actors wore roller skates. Saw that one in...London I think it was yearrrrs ago.

Just lately I took my 16 year old daughter to see Rascal Flatts here in Salt Lake City and wow can they put on a good show. Kelly Pickler opened for them. In her red high heels lol. Actually she took me. For her birthday I bought her an extra ticket and told her she could invite anyone she wants with it and she wanted me to come <sighs>. Such a good kid who wuvs her mom...

I'd love to see Madonna, U2, Barenaked Ladies, Shania Twain, Maroon 5... there's more but can't think of names right now...

Nickel Creek for everyone, hands down! They are way beyond amazing live. All of them are so good... I really hope they get back together soon. Plus that Chris Thile is pretty easy on the eyes.

Since I've scratched them off already, of COURSE I want to see the remaining members of Led Zeppelin.

Ultimate of course would've been Nirvana and they just never came to where I lived (the year they were supposed to come, he died and I didn't see them in 1992 when they first came but I knew someone who did see them and she said that it was amazing).

I'm very dirty on missing Duran Duran earlier this year when they came to tour and things just stuffed up and I couldn't see them

And Roxy would seriously be awesome. But they reformed and only played UK. I wanna see the old boys in action

I highly recommend Helmet for the harder people out there and Beuna Vista Social Club - both brilliant in their own way.

or how about before THEY die...i missed John Lee Hooker, my favourite, and Bo Diddley...but for those still kicking it:

the rolling stones in a SMALL place (3000 capacity would do)

the Xpensive winos anywhere but the above would be best!

bonnie bramlett in a bar

chuck berry anywhere anywho

blue cheer

though most of the above are fit and well, they aren't getting any younger...but they're still major energy senders...!

I was driving home today and Aerosmith came on the radio so I thought about this thread.

Aerosmith is another group I'd like to see.
