I dont know what it is about cell phones nowadays. The expensive ones seem to break easily, and the cheap ones can take a beating.
I broke an expensive phone 2 years ago, and it was a goner, from a fall to the ground. Last night, I threw my cell against the wall really hard, and it fell into a bunch of pieces, but yet I could put it back together like NEW. WTF? Its a cheap phone, like $35-$40...expensive isnt always better.

i've got a cheapie and it's brilliant. my friends all have expensive phones and have problems with them breaking down, etc. i've dropped mine innumerable times (aries sun & rising = clumsy)and the puppy has picked it up as a teething rusk a few times in the last month - and it still works. it also has more easily accessible and practical features than my friends' expensive phones. i've had it for four years and i wouldn't change it unless it totally died and i had to.
