My Mercury in Scorpio (in the 12th, no less) doesn't feel like going into details right now. I will later when the emotions die down. My Venus in Libra beauty and peace-loving self's tranquility has been shattered by someone who tossed a remark my way that for some reason has me rattled. It's wasn't crude, rude or hateful (although it could have been deemed hateful if I knew this person better and there were more feelings between us). Ugh. is all I can say and am left feeling it. Being empathic, I am super-sensitive to energy and it sticks with me, especially if it's negative and directed at me. I could really really really really use a big hug and some positive, uplifting energy from all my friends here. Thanks. IP: Logged |

My way of chivvying myself out of a funk due to some thoughtless person's remarks is to reiterate to myself, "It's not ME, it's THEM with the issue" (as many times as necessary)..... Hope you feel better soon  IP: Logged |

Thank you Zala for the hug and 26t. omg I love that pic! PeaceAngel, I know myself, who I am and what I am (and am not). It wasn't about someone 'making me feel inferior without my consent'. This wasn't about feeling inferior. I absorbed their negative energy directed at me. You read wayyyyy too much into my reason for the negative feelings without knowing details. Don't do that. Do you know what being empathic is? Maybe reading up on it will help you understand what an empathic person experiences. There are a few threads on this in LL and on the web. But thank for for trying to psychoanalyze me. Someone basically wished ill upon me to have a bad weekend and sent their negative-energy saturated barbs (and baggage) my way. That's it. Nothing like feeling the force of ugly energy. This was more about my making a decision in my own best interests. I kind of threw the baby out with the bathwater in all this but was getting some unhealthy and not very clean vibes from them. Ew again. IP: Logged |

I ususally take a long bath with the scent of aroma therapy oils when I feel that I aborbed alot of negative energy and it helps Big bear hug to you!------------------
