Pid,If you drink several cups of red raspberry leaf tea everyday during your pregnancy, your uterus will be well toned and strong. That's how I was able to naturally birth the twins. In Germany you should have access to a midwife as well, and she would have more information and ideas for you. Congratulations again you two! jwhop, Eleanore, Isis.... everyone... Thank you so much for the well wishes. GG... we do get a midwife here in Germany and I've heard great things about them. I will definitely get some of the red raspberry tea. I was wondering though, if I can't get the leaves, can raspberries be used (boiled into like a tinture?). I will look for it on and off post and see what I can find Again, thank you all.. Lots of hugs!!! Pid and Bear IP: Logged |

Try www.whittard.co.uk and look under Herbal teas. There's a 100% organic raspberry leaf tea there (free of other ingredients). I'm sure they'd mail to Germany if you can't get it there (although Germans are usually pretty good with anything herbal - look for anything that says Himbeerblaettertee LOL ). IP: Logged |

Nope, it has to be the leaves.. not the berries. I can't imagine it would be too difficult to find in Germany. I'd ask your midwife about it. I really liked mine with a bit of vanilla creamer. IP: Logged |

I believe some of the active properties in the leaves are due to all of the tannins in them. I like making sun tea with it, and also freezing it into ice cube trays for use during labor. It's got lots of good micronutrients. If you really can't find any, let me know, and I'll mail you some ok? Amanda ------------------ The truth is ... everything counts. Everything.
