Topic: Have you ever....

After reading a couple relationship threads, I thought I'd ask this...Has anyone here ever just known something was going to pass without a doubt, just from looking at someone or something... and have it come true? Here's my example... When I was a senior in high school, I was at recess playing volleyball with my best friend and this new guy came to join us. He walked around shaking hands with everyone and saying his name.. kind of silly like.
Then when my friend and I were walking to class, I saw him and had the strangest feeling come over me.. I turned to my friend and told her "I'm going to marry him someday". Well, sure enough.. we married 3 years later and had 3 kids. He's not the best thing that ever happened since we're now divorced, but I still look back at that and laugh...

That's the exact thing that happened to me.
It wasn't an epiphany just a calm recognition of something that I already knew.I met my husband to be in a nightclub.
Wasn't blown away by him but went home and wrote a note to my mother saying
"Had a nice time. Met the man I am going to marry. See you in the morning" And I did and we have two wonderful children together.
And although we got divorced 20 years ago I still hold him in the highest esteem and will for eternity. IP: Logged |

yes! That's just what happened. It wasn't like I was saying a "wouldn't it be nice" kind of thing.. it was more like I just felt it was going to happen.. without a doubt... I always thought that was strange. Is this what it feels like to have a psychic knowledge of something? To just "know" something without question?

I like to think that when we die our souls are sent back again and again until we kind of get it right... When someone messes up a lot in life would you consider them a young soul?
I've heard people being refered to as young or old souls... always wondered what that meant. Kind of a similar feel to dejavu.. only different... My life has had a lot of grief, but maybe if I go thru it another two or three times, maybe I'll be happy as "bunnies" lol. ------------------
