That must be painful, so heavy. His eye is as upsetting as anything, that runs the risk of constantly getting infected and dry. Good luck to him for his next round of operations.

My roommate was watching a show on someone like this. I honestly don't think it's the same guy, though, which seems almost incomprehensible that there would be more than one person living with this kind of condition.

Sadly it is far more common than one would think.
