deuxYeah - I think so too. But then, I'm quite biased that way - that's my favourite humour - Peter Cook & Dudley Moore, Monty Python, and Mike Myers (even though he's technically Canadian his humour is very British). Stand up wise I love Billy Connolly. Then again, I don't mind some American humour too. Love Chris Rock. There's a few sitcoms that have made me really laugh out loud over the years - Cheers, Just Shoot Me. Of course, there's always Aussie humour which I think you really have to be Aussie to get sometimes because we make a lot of jokes about ourselves and our culture that you have to be a part of to understand. That's why when they take Aussie shows and Americanise them they don't work - they just don't translate. IP: Logged |
