At a guess, the vicious argument that broke out about Lexigramming is at the heart of this sense of dissatisfaction. I'd be lying if I said I'd never got upset over things I read on forums, and I confess I have been involved in some nasty arguments. It's all part of the live and learn experience. When it starts getting being more upsetting than escapist then it's time to take a break. Also, and though I hesitate to say this, it is so easy to blame mistakes on everyone else being an arsehole. That might well be a component of most situations, but I always find asking myself how I could do better next time is a helpful strategy for making my life better the older I get. IP: Logged |

detach and show some equanimity lotus, otherwise by complaining and pointing fingers you are pouring more negativity into the site.

I thought we were allowed healthy debate as long as it wasn't insulting?Otherwise it will just be a site for sycophants (and in my opinion, they are the most dangerous, telling you what you want to hear whilst secretly thinking the opposite) I love the diverse opinions and different outlooks. There is a thread somewhere between HSC and Kat and someone else that's so deep, when I came up for air I had the bends!

Lotus hun, try not to be distressed. Try to see the good things about this site that first attracted you to it. Those things are still here. I know you see injustice but we're all adults and a bit of subterfuge is part of the internet, and taken for granted (by me anyway). Lotus, what really baffles me is that despite your grim outlook about this site not being tendered to your personal preference, you STILL continue to attack people here and degrade LL. You have said you peace regarding your disapproval of this site. You have made it really clear that you do not like the crowd. So... Why not leave this place?
