So they say if you have more planets above the horizon of a birthchart you love and audience and are less comfortable when left alone for too long.
And if you have more beneath the Asc-Desc line your a subjective type, and are refective, your own feelings being more important that opinions of others.So true? Which are you?
I only have 2 above the Asc-Desc line, and one doesn't really count because its saturn conjuncting the desc. But I'm definitely an introvert. Bet you thought this was going to be about belly buttons.  IP: Logged |

ok I also heard that. Tim Wilson teaches that, but my question would be,then why is the 5th house an innie?I only have one planet above the LINE. And it is daddy saturn sitting alone. I think people see me as an extrovert, but really not so much. I could care less a lot of the time what anyone thinks or has to say about my choices, and can be very hard to really get to know. I can talk to people for years and not really let them know me. it is volnerable, to let people in. I have party friends by the dozens and real friends , maybe two or three, and I don't even share my innermost with them much. I am more open about how I think right here, than most places and with most people. I internalize and accept guilt as trained.good girl..for a season..then I forgive myself and go on....a lot of people seem interested in my life, and invites abound this time of year, but it really wears me out and wish I was just at home strumming my guitar and kinda enjoy my safe world more than the crowds merriment... in fact, i'm a loner that is surrounded by people. which makes no sense at all, but it is true. I think the 5th house is an innie because it's about developing as an individual. When you move to the 11th then your moving on as relating more to a group. In the 7th your defining yourself in relationship to another.Where as you define yourself according to your friends,others,etc that's 11th.The 5th (although you could argue 5th and it's love affairs...) I'm in 'innie'  ... only planet 'out there' is Jupiter in my 10th, but it's got a lot of aspects.
I am an introvert and a loner, but my Sun is in the 5th and in the Koch system, my Mercury is in the 5th too. I DO need an audience, desperately ...but at the end of the day, I like to retreat into my little shell to recharge my batteries (esp. with Moon in the 12th)Sunshine_Lion, I totally understand what you're saying. Being a loner at heart but also being able to be highly social. I do feel like I love being in the public eye and I am a huge attention ***** . However, I can't take it for long periods of time. I start to just shut down after a while. PS - yeah, the 5th is about SELF-expression. I guess the other ones are about expression or relations with others...group dynamics, etc. I still think the 5th is associated with true love though also. Not just 'love affairs' and romance. Yeah MVM, I agree with 5th and true love.
