http://www.budgetsimple.com/ This one set up really quick, and is pretty simple to use. I wanted something I could use to track my spending, and I think this will do an OK job at it. I wish I had more control over the categories, and that I could eliminate the extraneous ones, but I think I can live with this. I can use it on my cell phone, too, which is something I was hoping for. http://www.mint.com/ Mint's pretty cool. You connect your bank accounts to it, and it attempts to sort out your spending on its own. It's nice to be able to see what's going on with every account at one time in one place. I haven't tried accessing it from my phone yet, but they do have an iPhone app, too, so that's promising. IP: Logged |

Mint.com looked cool when I tried it... Was uncomfortable giving them my account info though.I can see these apps being used on a mobile device. Too cumbersome to sit at your desktop and put in all of your expenses at one time. *note to self* Must show this to my head-in-the-clouds Pisces.* IP: Logged |

I went to Mint off a recommendation. I'll let you know if anything bad happens, but I don't really anticipate it.IP: Logged |

I found out today that Mint's full functionality doesn't work on my messed-up work computer. That computer has issues that IT won't tackle. The core of the program still works fine. I just can't assign my checks to categories.IP: Logged |

Why don't you just marry me instead? I'll take care of it. With a pad of paper and a biro.I'd say that would use up less of your energy but I would be lying. Got Venus in Taurus, haven't I? Square Mars. All this talk about money. IP: Logged |

You can also download all of your banking activity to an Excel spreadsheet and go from there. IP: Logged |

I'd love for you to take care of it. (I can't even imagine myself using pencil and paper. Is that bad? Every budget I've done, I've done on a computer.) IP: Logged |
