My friend has a notion to put a bunch of quartz crystals in his floatation tank... Little spherical ones, that wont scratch or puncture the lining of the tank.He wants to know if these polished crystals are less potent, or tainted, by having been altered from their natural state. Also, he wonders if the Epsom Salt in the tank will harm the crystals, and/or will it act as a conductor/magnifier of their energies. Please only respond if you have some knowledge of crystals. I'm not interested in opinions. Thanks

HSCThe only crystal that I know of that can't go into water is Selenite. It sounds like your friend has quartz of some kind, which should be fine. It makes up about a twelfth of the Earth's crust. Its tough stuff. IP: Logged |

polished quartz can be less potent cos the energy is disrupted.when you hold the crystal up to the light, does it sparkle like a rainbow? If so, it has lead in it and is not a proper crystal and will actually attract negative energy to it. IP: Logged |
