I thought it was another gimmick in the Weight Loss circus - well it makes sense at the site though.

quote:
"VibroGym has over 20 internationally published researched proven benefits, and is a revolutionary new way of working out as it trains over 95 per cent of a muscles' fibre as opposed to 45 per cent in a conventional workout."

"VibroGym uses European engineering and technology and is controlled and synchronised by Siemens and Schneider Electric. VibroGym is a smarter, safer, more efficient way of training that gives better results in a fraction of a time. No more long exhausting workouts now", adds Arenja.

In conventional weight training, there is an increase in the mass, which leads to increased force acting on the muscle. VibroGym generates very precise vertical vibrations that lead to an increase in the acceleration factor acting on the body, which in turn increases the force acting on the muscle. The effect of VibroTraining depends on the frequency and intensity of the vibrations.

My Gym doesnt have it, so i did tried a trick.I tried using a vibrating massage belt that i use for back pains and it has two extra belts that can be used on calves when legs ache.

I tied the two belts on on my thighs - a week later my lower body looks like Gisele Bundchen carrying a little baby weight

which makes the rest of me look wierd , but i am now using it on the Abs with great results.

Everyone should try this.Especially those who are incapable of strenour cardio due to heath conditions.

There are several other conditions which if a person has...indicates they should not use body vibrating devices. (some can can lead to disabling complications or even death) Always check with your doctor first folks!

Generally people with Osteophytes and circulation problems and who have suffered embolisms or strokes should not use vibration on certain parts of their bodies..
Maybe this Vibrogym is different.
I shall wait for more reviews.
I cannot afford to go to a gym anyhow....and require too much assistance physically....so it really does not matter I guess in my case.

are these similar/same to the Turbosonic that is in my spa? you stand on it and it vibrates at a variety of frequencies for 10 minutes a session and you get the benefits of a 10 minute workout of various strengths/intensities...and it works really well i have to say. i was devised by the ussr cosmonaut program to help spacetravellers restore muscle mass after zero gravity exposure (which reduces muscle mass AND bone mass).

it is okay for most disabled people unless they have "hardware" installed, plates * pins etc, pregnancy, and there may be one or two conditions its not a good idea for, but i have seen people with arthritic hips walk without pain or stiffness after a few weeks, and no end of people saying they just feel better, their energy is restored and bodies improved one way or another..

it has not made me look like a super model but that doesn't really interest me and i DID lose 8 excess pounds in the first couple of months anyway...haven't lost any more but don't care to!!
