Near air accidents? Is that an astrological prompt? Because it goes without saying that, yes, you are certainly an Aquarius.

I didn't even associate my Aquariasness with it (or even Mars in Gemini/3rd)

I was seriously freaked out about them really! It also freaked out Mr 23 too and he showed it to his work colleagues and they were amazed! Mr 23 is now a prog Aqu rising, natally Gem Sun and Sco Moon conj Uranus, that must be it for him but I don't know his work colleague stats!

He just came into the room to watch it again with me! We still can't get over them (particularly the first one!)

Add one more Gemini thats amazed,

I actually watched a lot of the landings in Kai Tak airport, Hong Kong.

Its a shame they closed it down, It amazing some of the landings.

Those pilots that can land at Kai Tak are worth there weight in gold.

Try landing in an already difficult airport plus a crosswind, not for private pilots. But for the pros.

Yes Kai Tak was notorious. Mr 23's parents landed there, they said it was VERY hairy and you could see into people's apartments when coming into land. I've only been to the new Chep Lap Kok, where I did happen to have one of the worst landings ever.

What was that like, riding a roller coaster?? I've never had a bad landing while on a plane.

I've made is crashing my RC plane in the ground, while landing in a crosswind.

Oh it was horrible. We were coming from Japan and there was a big thunderstorm and we thudded down about four or five times very hard and there was also bad winds too. I seriously thought that we'd smash against the ground. The pilot was mildly amused about it.

The best was at Singapore, the pilot was soooo good that no one on the plane realised he touched down. We all gave him an ovation.

I was in Canada, in a 4-seat 1959 De Havilland like the one shown below. The clouds broke just enough for the pilot to notice we were flying along the side of a mountain. I don't know if he ignored his altimeter or what. He shouted a bunch of French, likely expletives, pulled up hard and accelerated. We were going about 140 mph and couldn't have been more than 30 feet away from clipping the trees. That's my closest of a couple near death experiences.

I think I'd be swearing in French too and I don't even speak it!
