My relationship books say that that often the argument starts about A and then a new argument starts (B) about the WAY THE MAN IS ARGUING. Often men are overly logical and might overlook the initial hurt feelings of the woman (most people -not just women- don't break down into tears when someone upsets us, we just kick in the defense) and argue in a cold and unfeeling manner and then when the woman resists him and becomes more and more upset and un-logical and refuses to argue about A because she is arguing about B, the man thinks that SHE is being unreasonable and cruel to him and he is the one who got upset first, when in reality SHE was upset from the beginning about the WAY he was arguing and he did not see it.

And the reason the women might group together is that they all noticed B immediately, which is why they all believe the same thing (you know, the A word).

Also, all people, as it was said, are guilty of picking fights with loved ones when there are issues to be worked out and they are in a bad mood and all people respond more poorly to such instances when they are feeling weak or sad in the first place.

Agree Mystic Melody... so sweet you are

Women should NEVER argue with men. They will always lose because women are sweet and feminine and a man's world is in the WORLD and arguing is part of their domain

Obviously, since I believe in astrology, I think that all people are combinations of both masculine and feminine and each present different sides at different times and to different degrees. But with our loved ones, we usually interact with our moons and though our moon signs may be either masculine or feminine... the moon is always feminine. From a biological stance there is difference between male and female as well.

Since I am a Libra, some might say I have more masculine energy or a more balanced energy but my moon and AC are Capricorn so it all makes sense to me. Females who are much more masculine in general might understand things better from what the book calls the "man's" point of view, which just means the masculine point of view, which is just a quality of energy. If I ever write something myself I will use the words masculine energy and feminine energy instead of "man" and "woman". I was just being lazy so I said, "my relationship books say".

Yup. My aries definitely understands a man's point of view more too. I would agree with the astrological theory

I think I thought you were an Aries and then read that you have a lot of other Aries placements and that you are a Taurus, is that right?

This might seem like weird questioning but my daughter is an earth sign with Aries moon. I was wondering if you did any athletics/sports growing up? What were your friends like? Were they more aggressive types? What guidance would you give your own mother or me as a mother of a child with similar energies?
My daughter has Mars in Scorpio so I want to give some guidance to her powerful energies.

Yes i played all sports at school and l was on every team. I was very musical too.

I spent most of my childhood either doing sport or on my bicycle. Outside in the fresh air.

My friends were all rebellious although i do think that this is where the chinese signs come into play. I'm a monkey and so were all my friends. Monkeys are rebellious and cheeky, playful and naughty. They find solutions for everything and this summed my friends and l up very well!!!

Good luck with your daughter. Give the aries side of her lots of space and freedom and the taurus side armfuls of love and you can't go wrong.

Thank you She is Capricorn. She loves music too and loves to be outside in nature and I do well guiding the academic part (as she examines bugs like a little scientist) but I don't have it in me to wrestle around with her and that sort of thing as much as she would like. She has a Libra AC so has this sweet nature that the more aggressive children are drawn to or try to take advantage of? I don't know, they just love to start bossing her around and she is intrigued by them and then has ended up friends with them. I worry some because she has started giving me a little smack when I say something funny or teasing her and she has learned it from another child who obviously learned it at home. I just wonder if there is something I should do so she doesn't get involved with all the bullies and have a lot of trouble later. It is hard to determine what is her path and where I can help. It is difficult to explain to kindergartners the nuances and dynamics of different households and people's paths etc... really all you can say is "don't hit" and "stay away from people who hit". But if she is drawn to it, I have to give her another outlet or she won't be able to stop herself from being drawn to it and will just stop telling me what is going on with these friends.
I think I was just thinking out-loud there so don't feel like you have to answer unless something springs to mind.

I am:
Year - Earth Horse
Month - Water Dog
Day - Water Monkey
Hour - Fire Horse

The Day is considered to represent "YOU",
While the Month signifies your Parents,
the Year represents your Ancestors,
and the Hour, your Children

And I read again what you said and I guess I don't know how to give her that freedom while still guiding her. I know she will demand it when she is older so I have to guide her now while there isn't as much resistance.
Thanks for answering. I keep thinking it is really important for her to get involved in a sport and maybe more important that for most children so I will be sure to follow through with that.

I try not to say "don't" to my kids... instead l say to hitting "we use our hands for work and play" and l either hand my son a pencil and paper or involve him in what l am doing.

Distraction over and over curbs these habits for me.
hope this resonates with you too

Good thoughts, but how do I use that in helping her make healthy choices in friends? I do tell her that friends are kind to us etc. and also tell her that everyone has "bad behavior" sometimes etc so I guess it helps her avoid the girl who twists her arm etc but she still likes to play with the one who hits because "she is nice sometimes".

very hard MM. You just have to let her make her own choices with friends because you can't not expose her. I just put my trust in my 3 son's abilities to learn positive from negative themselves.

She has cried as I held her a couple times so I know I have to give her some answers, but she also wants to be independent etc and doesn't yet have the capacity to see how everything fits together and how other choices influence the circumstances that cause her pain. I know she will have to experience some pain for herself, I just want to do what I can I suppose. It might be different with boys? Or at least they have each other at school.
But thanks, I am just thinking of all of this lately. Figuring out the best course of action.

Interesting Mel.

Chart-wise, I'm half and half. Feminine and Masculine placements are equal.

Monkeys are fun and loving persons who are always cheerful and energetic. They are very clever. Give a monkey a boring book to read and he'll turn it into a Musical. Better yet, he'll invite everyone to see it free! That's how talented, creative and generous monkeys usually are.

If you go to a party, you'll find Monkeys at the center of attention. Their charm and humor is the key to their popularity. Sociable and diplomatic as they may appear, they can be deceptive sometimes - they hide their opinions of others beneath their friendliness. But they don't hide their emotion. You can probably tell how a monkey is feeling from miles away - he wants everyone to know how happy or depressed he is.

Monkey people are very good at problem-solving. Wherever you are, whoever you may be, if you've got a problem pick up the phone and dial-a-Monkey. Monkeys know how to listen closely and work out solutions at the same time. And because Monkeys' curiosity, they usually have a great thirst for knowledge. Still they have few scruples - they could be unreasonable sometimes, and they have the ability to persuade themselves and everyone around them to believe that they are doing the right things. Some say monkeys are self-centered, some say they are opportunistic, some say they are guileful, but monkeys couldn't care less - because they are also indifferent.

The monkey has a good chance of becoming famous or well-known. Whatever he does, his charm and luck will make him successful. As friends, Monkeys are both loyal and devoted, as lovers, they can be passionate and yet flighty - they can fall easily in love but will get tired of the relationship and look for another.

Most Monkeys have one fetish - FOOD. They are not pigs, they don't stuff themselves with food, instead, they just have this habit of eating snacks whenever they like, and wherever they like. And one last truth about monkey people is, they adore bananas. Go visit your monkey friend's kitchen, I bet you will find some bananas there.

Compatibility
(1 - least compatible, 10 - most compatible) with Rat 9 - A fun and loving relationship
Ox 8 - Nice - they are compatible and stable
Tiger 3 - Better stay away from each other
Rabbit 7 - Amusing relationship
Dragon 8 - This might work, they admire each other
Snake 5 - Perhaps - it depends on the Monkey
Horse 6 - Difficult, but there's still a small chance it could work
Sheep 7 - Oh well why not
Monkey 8 - Great companions and total complicity
Rooster 7 - Probably - you never know
Dog 6 - With reservation - the Dog might suffer
Pig 6 - Not a balanced relationship

Edgar Faure, Julius Caesar, Leonardo da Vinci, Gugin, Byron, Alexander Dumas, Captain Cook, Paderewski, Elizabeth Taylor Next Sign - Rooster
