Hi all. I forget where I posted this last year. I hope it's ok.
Charmed by Starr and the Wiccan Family Temple, once again present the 4th Annual NYC Witches Masquerade Ball. It's going to be on Samhain( or Halloween for the rest of us). It's a really awesome party that goes on from 8PM till 4AM in the morning. At midnight, we have a Samhain ritual to remember those who have died. It's also a good time to think of what has come into fruition and what is over. It's our New Year.

The party is going to have two DJs, several bands, a drum circle and much more. There's also going to be tarot readers and contests with prizes.

ALL of the proceeds go to the Avon Foundation for breast cancer research.

The tickets are $25 in person, $27 online and $30 at the door. We already have well over 100 ticket sales and there's room for more. Halloween Adventure is selling tickets as well, and the purchase comes with a 10% discount on all Halloween costumes.

Whether you guys can make it to the party or not, if you're in the area, I encourage you to join the Meetup group I linked to. It's a very family friendly group, you'll meet a lot of new people and learn a lot if you're interested in classes. The open rituals are very high spirited. I'm glad for what I've been able to contribute.

Also, Charmed by Starr has a shop with over 1000 products and we're always trying to add more. I'm currently in the process of updating the inventory. If you guys make any products you'd like us to sell, please let us know.

ETA: And you don't have to be Wiccan or Pagan to enjoy the party. I've brought many non-Pagan friends to the party and they thoroughly enjoy it. There's always somewhere in the venue they can go during ritual, but they stick around to watch because the ritual is rather awe inspiring.

Thanks. The ball is only in a few days and tickets can be bought at the door, if anyone is still interested.

Just heard last night we've added a Celtic band to the lineup.

I hear from everyone it went well. Better than usual, actually.

I hate to say that I didn't go, but I didn't go. I stayed home. I was so serious about the election and I knew people would be praising Obama at that party and everywhere else throughout the city that night, so I stayed home. I stayed in my own personal bubble, where others can't get in. In fact, the group is good for everyone else but me, so I think I'm done with the group. I'm done with a lot of people in general. I can't enjoy my religion when politics come in. It's so pervasively liberal in my city. I don't want to be here.
