I'll bring my lexi of Osama here. Before I do, just a quickie on spelling. I believe (kNOW) we were right to lexigram it as it contains 4 (FOUR) vowels. Spelling his name with ONE O is correct and recommended by Arabic language experts (such as Jere Bacharach, a University of Washington professor of Middle East history), whilst including U is a WRONG substitute of - î - YA - a letter which in arabic stands as a bearer of HAMZA - as there are literally NO VOWELS in Arabic spelling, just CONSONANTS. YA is pronounced and spelled as preferably O, or OO (as in ooze or too).
