Jah! Rastafari!!!
I got to meet and kiss Ziggy Marley at a show at the House of Blues. He is the most spiritual and humble human being I have ever met. He travels with his masseus/seer, and she is phenomenally gifted. I told him I was deeply honored to be in his presence and he said, "No, the honor is mine." He bowed deeply kissed my hand and my cheek. WOW!!!

LTD...that was a GREAT LEXI. Wonder if there would be any way to get it to him? I bet if he is all you say he is, he would be impressed.

I am going to try to get this lexie to Ziggy and Rita Marley. My son is affiliated with the House of Blues, and Ziggy plays there every August, so I think I will print it up and have it framed and matted to give to him. What a great idea!!

LaTeeDa~ Oh! Yeah !!! That's perfect !

Just in case... Here's a tip on matting/framing ... Just hours before having to leave town for Stacey's wedding, I remembered I had forgotten to have something matted/framed he wanted to give his brother/best man as a gift No one could do a *rush* custom job at the 11th hour, but Michael's (craft store) saved the day ! I had a 3" x 7" piece of paper (a very sweet note Stacey had written <when he was 4> to his brother) and the framer was able to use and cut a piece of stock matting and a BEAUTIFUL 8 x 10 photo frame and VOILA ! $29 and 10 minutes later I was outta there with a finished product that could not have been prettier had I spent $100 on a custom frame-up (which I would have )!!! (his brother had a real *moment* when he opened his gift and read the note... awwwwwww )

I can't wait to hear how it goes

Caileah...that is a fantastic idea....time and cost effective!! I will let you know how it turns out. I am so excited at the prospect of meeting Ziggy again. The night I met him, I watched the entire concert from the wings of the stage, with his children, his seer and the wives of the other band members....it was truly a magical night! At the time, I had had a really serious infection going on in my left breast...this was a post surgery thing....anyway,his seer walked up to me, placed her hand over my left breast and said "The Lord Jah will heal you. Have faith." Wow!! I was blown away and yes, it did heal!!! Amazing group of people.

Heart....I thought it wonderful to find Rastaman in his name, as well as
Natty....he always referred to himself as a Natty Dread! Also, tomb and entomb...he lies in a tomb in St.James parish...it is a highly ornamented tomb....covered in ribbons, flowers and mementos from fans and fellow Rasta. And the fact that his music is still reaching our hearts, even from the tomb!! I never got to see him in concert, only the Wailers (original Members) and then of course, Ziggy (twice) and Rita Marley (once).
