fantastic work! i am very impressed

quick questions, is MAGE pronounced as a single syllable, or as MAGI (two syllables)?

i would never in a million years have thought of ATHENA. wow. i'm going to look her up. what's up with me and goddesses, hehe just kidding. (p.s. MAAT and HAG are goddesses too?)

TAME THE NAUGHTY, MEAN, HAUGHTY GUY

i recently had to do that two days ago

Yes, Maat and Hag are Goddesses.

Aphrodite, you've got a lot of goddesses surrounding you.

Maat: one of Egyptian goddesses, she is Truth, Justice & All-Seeing Eye. You could read more about goddesses by going to Univerial Codes area where Caileah, I and others discuss the goddesses. There's a picture of Maat out there.

Hag was the death-goddess corresponding to Hecate. Old Norse hagi meant a sacred grove. There is the famous Stone of Scone still used at each British monarch's coronation. This stone once represented the Hag and her spinning wheel - i.e., Arianrhod, Goddess of the Wheel of Fate. In the 16th cetury, "hag" was synonymous with "fairy". Although "hagilogy" still means the study of holy matters and saints, the root word hag declined in its meanings. Shakespear's verb hagged meant to be betwitched. His noun haggard meant a hawk, a harpy, or an intractable woman. The Hag as death-goddess, her face veiled to imply that no man can know the manner of his death, was somtimes re-interpreted as a nun. Christianized legends were invented for these veiled figures.

To read about the oldest myth of all myths, read "In the Beginning..." where I posted in Universal Codes area. Go there and read the scriptures much older than the Bible.

Athena is my fave goddess! I have "Athena" within my name.

Athena is the goddess of war and wisdom. A symbol of courage and friendship, she often counsels warriors to gentleness. She's especially honored as a goddess of argiculture; the creator of olive tree, the flute, the ship, goldsmithing, and shoemaking. She is a patron of all useful and elegant arts. In Greek mythology, Athena is said to have breathed soul into men created by Promtheus and to have helped Prometheus steal fire from the heavens to give to men. Athena is a wonderful affirmation that there are no limits to what a woman can do with her intellect and creative ability. Athena origianlly came from the uterus of Lake Tritonis (Three Queens) in Libya.

Egyptians sometimes called Isis Athena, which meant "I have come from myself."

hi randall, mele, & hopeful!

thank you hopeful! that was so pretty. i'm going to look into it more.

i looked up athena and maat, and there was one website on hag. and they all make close matches to who i am my middle name translates to "warrior princess." how's that for symbolism the interesting thing was, i checked out another goddess with the same letters, but she was totally different from who i am.

hmm.

more later!

love,

aphrodite

okay hopeful, you are doing really good in tapping your faculties because your lexi said something NOBODY knows about except me and my beau (and now the whole site knows, hehe). I do SING to him to calm him down. just silly kindergarten songs that i switch the words around. do you know the song oh clementine? oh my darling, oh my darling you're the sweetest poo poo boy, you just drive me, nearly in-sannnee, but i'll keep you happy with, nacho cheese.
