Any ideas why Santa would Lexi into Satan? From a purely Christian standpoint, I suppose one could say that Santa leads everyone to forget the true meaning of Christmas, but maybe there is a deeper meaning?

Hey Randall...

Well, since you brought it up.

1) They both wear red suits!

2) As you say Satan would benefit from taking away or hiding the true meaning of Christmas.

3) Santa to me has become (since I lexigrammed the name) a symbol of CONDITIONAL LOVE. You get nice presents IF YOU ARE A GOOD LITTLE GIRL OR BOY. A lump of coal if not! God's love is absolutely UNCONDITIONAL, always Patient and NEVER, EVER judgmental.

The name is numerologically a 14/5 in the Chaldean system, which depicts an angel pouring water from two urns, standing in front of a narrow Pathway leading into the mountains. This suggests to me several things. 1) Satan was supposed to have been a fallen angel. 2) We must always walk the straight and narrow Path to enlightenment, which means uncovering deception and following the still small voice of God within.

The 5 aspect shows the "trickster" aspect of the Mercury vibration at play, ready to trip us up if we let our guard down. What better face to wear than the kindly guise of "Father Christmas".

As Linda said.. where better to hide than right out in broad daylight. Few people ever really see beneath the surface. And the 5 vibration has a tendency toward superficiality in it's lesser evolved aspect.

Those are my thoughts... and yours?

Randall...

Re-read that again.. when I initially scribbled my calculations, I shorted the T by 2.. so I had to re-adjust my interpretations, but I believe they are still equally valid.

Silly me!

Let's forget everything that our parents taught us ... at least mine !

The image of a man that uses red clothes and has white beards and rosy cheeks ...in a steep sled for eight reindeers, comes from 1822, when Clement Clark Moore in a poem today known as " Twas the Night Before Christmas " described him like this .

About numerology... I know what Linda taught us... but if we look to other languages, Santa Claus, will have several names ...for instance:

In my language, Portuguese, Santa Claus is " Papai Noel", the same as Saint Nicolau.

In Germany Kriss Kringle, Christ's Child .
Pere Noel in France,Papa Noel in many countries of Spanish language.
In England,he is called Father Christmas .
In Costa Rica, Colombia and parts of Mexico he is called El Nino Jesus {boy Jesus} . In Swedden he is Jultomten. In Holand,Kerstman .
In Finland, Joulupukki. In Russia,Grandfather Frost or Baboushka.
In Italy,Belfana or Babbo Natal.In Japan,Jizo.
In Denmark, Juliman...

Linda was my first Master.
She taught me to seek for what was not obvious, I am able even to say that she taught me how to think... yet for having learned with her how to think, today I question a lot of things...

I believe in Santa Claus. Not in a man that uses red and walks in a sled, but in his simbology.
Santa is our desire turning into reality... if we deserve and we act correctly, good things will happen.

God's love is absolutely UNCONDITIONAL....,I agree and I don't have doubts about that, but I also believe that OUR ACTIONS will make us worthy or not of the rewards of life.
We will pick what we plant... nothing more, nothing less .
And this is exactly Santa Claus' analogy, if you deserve you will be rewarded, if not...

Yet, obviously, this is just my opinion.

Love
Jakie

Some sects of Magick use Rituals that call upon the power of various deities (especially Greek gods and goddesses). That doesn't mean that all such practitioners believe these deities actually physically exist, but they have been prayed to and believed in by many millions of people over time, so such mental imagery has created thoughtforms of power (with the particular characteristics thereof). These thoughtforms can be called upon to provide power to specific Rituals by calling upon them by name (like Aphrodite in Love spells). The same would go for Santa! How many children believe in Santa with wide-eyed Faith and innocence? That is a very real, very pure magick. On top of that, despite the selfish motives involved, this is a season of GIVING and of circulating green Energy. All that giving creates a special kind of power. Need a miracle in your Life? Christmas magick will work like nothing else! This is the time for the biggest miracles of all. Yes, I believe in Santa--and all that he stands for--even if he may sometime get in the way of the real message. And didn't Linda say that Set repents and wants forgiveness?

Hopeful !

Dear Webmaster, I am needing so much of a miracle in my life and your words gave me an idea... I will write a letter right now for him, I don't know if I will use the paper, or I will just throw the words in the Universe... but I will ask for a miracle in this Christmas...

The Santa thoughtform has a lot of Energy that goes unused on adults. EXPECT A MIRACLE!

My orthodox Jewish friend told me that St. Nick killed Jews? I didn't know what she was talking about. To me Santa was a grand idea that I would try to get a glimpse of, brought delight, and I would leave cookies and brandy out for. Sometimes I think in Israel which is wear she was studying they teach anything that isn't Jewish is wrong and therefor must want Jews to die or have supported it! Because now she won't even celebrate New Years, she says THAT celebrates the death of Jews. I am like, OK, I don't get it. I would never want the death of a Jew, now, but I love these holidays- can someone help!

Faith, love, miracles... joy, peace, hope... uni-versal harmony... Thats the meaning of Christmas to me.
I think the santa/satan connection is based on the physical & IS conditional as is our physical aspects. Raise the vibration & we find the Christ. Both are valid & necessary to the spirit living a human experience.
& joy to all juniperb

I can't imagine him killing anyone. He was a Saint, after all.

Everybody calm !

quote:
Saint Nicolau would have been a bishop in Asia , in the century 4th. The saint was famous for his generosity and protection to the children.
After his parents' death, Saint Nicolau inherited a great fortune ,that he began to distribute among the poor. He determined to help privately, like this, nobody could thank him.
The legend says that he would have resuscitated three children and he would have converted them in ardent followers. There are a lot of legends on his respect and his image survives until today as Santa Claus.

I had to do this research, because if Santa Claus was a murderer, I would implore to God to take me of this planet right now !

Thanks guys! I would hate to think that way also- I just wondered what the heck was the basis for my Jewish friends comments. But she is extreme orthodox- I mean when she is married, she will have a seperate bed for the week of her menstruation. And she has two dishwashers and two stoves so that none of the pots and pans that ever touch a dairy item touch a meat item. So they may have some weird theories about Christmas I don't know. I am starting to think that anything that isn't 100% Jewish they teach is against Judaism.

I love it too! Can we keep it all year Randall?

Well, for my two cents worth:
In Spanish, Santa is the feminine form of Saint. How could anything associated with Saintliness be evil????

I am like Hopeful.....I BELIEVE!!!!

And I also think that Santa does bring miracles......and I think sending the message for our desires out to the Universe is the way to do it!!!
Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!

Wow!!! I love Lindaland! I learn so many things! Christmas is a great holiday, mixed with the joy of seeing the smiles on the children's faces as they recieve their gifts with the joining together of family and friends.. It is one of the only times of the year where love and joy are focused on in the community... Although I have mixed feelings about Santa, the storyline seems to be innocent enough... BTW though, does anyone know the story of the candy cane? Just curious... I know that there is a symbolism with the red and white in the candycane... Does anyone know the story?...

TIS A SAINT A SIN?
AS A SAINT I SIN?

Is there anything positive in there?

Saints are a man created idea... there are no references to saints being anything but mere mortals in the Bible and therefore they are sinners just like the rest of us and desrve no recognition beond humans... Mary too is not a saint.. She was the mother of Jesus but that is all.

The sooner the catholic congregations realize this, the sooner they will know what thir pope has known for centuries... He is nothing but a mortal as well as the rest of us..
