I'd like to see what you come up with on this one Magus. Some people on this site are not too keen on the "Master Therion". I am not one of those people. I happen to find him quite interesting but maybe someone who can be more objective can lexi this one.Heidi  IP: Logged |

Yeah Im used to peaple having Mr.Crowley completly missunderstood. So was he, after all what did he expect going around publicly proclaming him self as "the Beast!". Regardless, if any one looks into the history of the occult [I hate that label}and esoteric findings over the last century its obvious we owe alot to him. He was often as far from being accurate as any one else- just as often he did find ancient truths though. If theres any thing he had in common with our beloved Linda, it was him constantly reminding his readers to seek the truth for our selves, and not just take his word for it.

Marcie, that all sounds about rite, very good job. Indeed he did die with tears in his eyes- He was very lonely, and his will was'nt enough to kick his heroin addiction, this left him with feeilings of failure on his death bed, all this being from his own peronal jurnals. If I remember correctly[its been atleast a year or two since I read that last biography] the only thing in his work he was still completly sure about was his most famous quote= Love is the whole of the law, Love under will. Thanks for the info on how he died,it's strange too how the word LAW comes screaming at you out of his name.
