Was wondering if ne1 has a link to lexigram names other than here? Would appreciate any. Like a program or something that does it for you?

Check this one out. This is an anagram server. If you go to advanced anagramming you can click on "print candidate list only" and it will give you the words in a list once. If you dont click that they give you all the words but they repeat alot and it takes awhile to sort through.
http://www.wordsmith.org/anagram/

There are people out there that don't think you should use an anagram server to find words contained in other words while lexigramming. They say leave it all up to your own intuition. Which is fine for some but personally I like to use the anagram server so I dont miss a single word and can get every possible message out of someone's name. And my intuition is stretched to the max while putting a lexi together.

The anagram server does not make sentences for you it just gives a list of all possible words. I think this is great because like I said, I want to find out all I can - every possible word, dont want to miss a single one. It still takes quite a bit to come up with a meaningful lexigram. My intuition is in full force while putting the words together. If I didnt use the anagram server it might take me all day to come up with a lexigram. And I would never find some of the things I do in them. Some people have mentioned to me they frown upon this. I think that is silly. In my opinion it is perfectly acceptable. To each their own.

Hope that helps! Happy lexigramming!

I think I agree with the other people, no offence. I just went on the anagram website, and reading it was like doing mathematics. Giggles...and most of the words I don't even know how to pronounce...such as Invertase, Veratrine, Tracheary, Tananarive. What is a tsarevich? Is that english? Hey! I am not at all insincere! Nor am I a warranty! Or a Errancies...what is that, exactly? I've also the word whitener--giggles...just like that whitening teeth thing. What's an astrachan? Or a sectarian, or a starchier, or a cartesian? Am I really a Siren? And I've als othe words scarry (am not!) ew, and heaviest. and weathery! I am so not weathery! I'm fifteen! And whiney! I am not whiney! The list goes on and on--I've also the word insane in my name--I'm not, am I? And why do I have the word shiva in my name? Isn't she the Hindu god of dance or destroyer or something? And does CIA count? Does anyone ahve a dictionary near by?

Take it easy hon. I replied to you in your string. Although ASHTRAY is in your name, I dont think you are one. Do you?

You are NOT every single word contained in your name. Nor would you want to use every single one that you find. Concentrate on the ones that mean something to you. K?

What about hernia? I have that word in my name--what does that mean? I don't think I'll ever be an ashtray. Never ever! I also have treachery--incinerates, arsine...

Christinaeavynwarner, that was way too funny

26t, I agree that whatever works for you is the system you should follow. Nothing is good or bad, only thinking makes it so (Shakespeare).

Personally, for me, I don't feel that the lexigramming process is a contest or competition as to the amount of words I can find, and I certainly don't think that we are the sum of all of those words.

I see the skill in lexigramming as being able to put some important words together in a meaningful prose that will undoubtedly uncover some known, some hidden, and some repressed things about a person/place.

Finding the words is only part of it. It's what you do with those words - that's the real magic.

Surely there is a program that links the lexigrammed words?

I'd vote for you Purple--in another three years, of course. I'm too young now...giggles. I can't wait till my senior year. There's going to be the Olympics, the elections (democrat all the way---no offence) and I'm graduating! How a cool year 2008's gonna be?

Can an Aussie even run for Senate??? Did you know that voting is compulsory in Australia and if you don't vote, you can be fined!

You can always just rock up to the polling booth, get your name ticked off and draw a lovely picture on your ballot paper!

Thanks a bundle 26T I was hoping for a kind of thing that would surely exist in this technological arena we all play in. Also I was googling one day and typed in my handle and it pulled up only my post(s) at Lindaland. So i was looking for a discreet way of attempting this. Surely the letters and their arrangements do speak loud. I'll see. Thanks again!
