Melatonin and Serotonin are hormonal secretions from the Pineal gland. Their balance during certain meditative states and phases of the moon triggers the production of a special substance which scientists will cover up. It is the "Amrita" or "Soma" [Ambrosia or Nectar] of Immortality in Hindu Yogic traditions. The human body has 3 major nerve channels. Ida or Solar Channel or Masculine energy or Left Brain channel, the Pingala or Lunar channel for right brain/feminine energy and the Sushumna, the central channel through the spine which takes Kundalini up across the open chakras when balanced.
