Go for larger words, nouns and correct anagram fits, they give more insightful meaning.

For instance, PRIMATES is a very important word from "The Pyramids" and the correct fit is PRIMATES HYD [which is homonymous to hide]. This will spiral us to think that maybe primate species hid in the pyramids?

Another fitter is PIRATES HYMD [hymned homonym]. IMP HYDRATES is a fitter that indicates chemical manipulations by naughty elves.

And so on.
