Hi everyone,

In "Linda Goodman's Star Sign", Linda gave these two examples, among others, for introducing Lexigrams to us. But I am not so sure...

If it's for the Southern hemisphere, e.g. New Zealand, Australia etc, then the "rules" don't apply, do they? The NORTH would be warmer and the SOUTH would be colder, aren't they? Or I get it wrong as only a past-traveller, instead of a resident? Advice would be appreciated

Still no one is up to defend Linda's theory...?

NORTH= NOT HOT; SOUTH= SO HOT

Again, I am saying that what Linda linked her lexigrams of NORTH and SOUTH does not apply for the southern hemisphere. Anyone who cares to explain?

And Linda, in her book Sun Signs (or/and perhaps Love Signs), talked about virtually each sign with its occurring season, which is, again, inaccurate for the season patterns of the southern hemisphere- in the southern hemisphere, Aries people would not be born in spring, but instead, autumn; and Leos would not be be born in summer, but instead, winter. Anyone who possesses such knowledge would not discuss the zodiac signs with a fixed set of their "occurring seasons". One may, but that would make it sound complicated and the focus less clear. Therefore, I personally think that there's no need to speak of the 12 sun signs with their "occurring seasons". Unless, of course, that one is not keeping such aquired knowledge in mind.

She erred in her assumptions on Bevery Sills and some other things. So I am with you on the North South thing.
I have finally aquired my own copy of Star Signs and am going over the Lexigram section with a fine toothed comb. Some stuff there is good, but some is based on assumptions and opinions and or compairing apples to oranges to make points.
Will return with more later.
Annotating my copy like crazy and researching outside of it.
