hello... i just discovered the existence of lexigrams and is very intriguing... i was born in a different country...so should i search for words in my language? or in english since i live in the US now?also, i was married and took my husbands last name but now i got divorced...which last name should i use? thank you from a newbie

Yes indeed they are! I have been doing them for over 40 years to date. Totally unaware of Linda's interest in them I called them Lexigrammes or Lexagrammes. My partner grew up also unnaware of Linda's interest and called them Lexagrams. quote:

Generally begin with the FULL name you were given at birth. Do not drop or add any letters. You may hear that only English works for Lexigramming. Not true. You may hear that you must drop letters. Totally unnecessary.
If you desire to know how you and or your life changed with the married name;
you use your married name and compare it to your birth name.
If you wish to know who you are now, use whatever full name you legally use at this time, and add your birthname if you wish to delve deeper. quote:

40 years wow you must be an authority in the subject...my language is italian...my name is very short, F L V N R S II O AA so i was bummed for limited range of lex...
the thing w my last name is i still have some bills and credit cards in my married name but i always use my maiden since is the one i feel i resonate with. do you think i could try with a persons name i really like and i think he might be my soulmate,to see if the merging holds an answer to my feeling of fate ? even if now he s not talking to me  - im so hoping he s coming back to me- his letters are : L W RR G CC N AA EE I in my first attempt i came up with something, but since is not my first language and is my first time lexing i dont know if i did ok. would u have a look at it and look for more meaningful phrases or mistakes?

i meant grail as the cup -holy grail- but in italian is called 'sacro graal'. why ,does it make a difference in the intention of creating the word?so can the lexi work as some kind of oracle?
is it powerful to have the word 'lovers' in union? one phrase he used to tell me all the time is 'go with the flow' and it sort of showed up in the lexi what do we try to come up with ,when we are in love ,huh...!!! IP: Logged |

It does not matter which you use. In this case "graal" would be better as it is a UNION word. "Grail" only he gets, as an individual.

That is one reason why accuracy in Lexigramming is of vital importance. I have seen far too many folks cheating and adding to LOV, an E they do not have, in wishful thinking they do have it. Then if they also do have the letter "I", they won't want the E for EV-L, because they'd get EVIL.
Do not add letters, to not remove letters.

Not really...as the so called English language is not a pure tongue but is laden with words borrowed from other languages. So Amore, amour, etcetera would not be wrong.

the reason i am drawn to fairies is i always believed in them but when i was a little girl my parents told me they didnt exist ,stop talkin nonsense,etc, and if i told people about them, they d think i was crazy.
i always talk to them tho, hoping they will listen to me and give me guidance . and sometimes when i m very sad i feel them around me in form of goosebumps or light air current on my skin.they love flowers and my last name in latin means 'of the flower'.one time i saw an elf but i got so scared that i screamed and he disappeared.
so i think i have a connection with them..i swear if i see one now i wont yell and i wont get scared i love the unknown and unseen... my sun and saturn are in the 8th house, my mercury conjunct to the cusp of the 8th in pisces,jupiter in 12th in cancer
