Got out of the hospital yesterday and have been put on bed rest for pre-eclampsia. I'll be delivering some time next week (inducing at 37 weeks on the dot) and the docs want me off my feet until I'm totally clear of this issue. I wish I had a laptop, lol. Anyway, I'll probably be able to log back on some time 3 weeks from now but with a newborn I still won't have much time.

Any positive thoughts and prayers will be greatly appreciated. If someone could step in to help moderate this forum I would really appreciate it. I wish I could write more but I'm so tired and really must go lay down.

for LL and all the Knowflakes.

Bless you and baby

These are the Years

These are the years, the gentle years,
the soft and sentimental years

when wee little fingers
reach and touch
and little eyes gaze
with wonder and trust,
when you love so tenderly
and so so much,

these are the gentle years.

These are the years, the rainbow years,
the quiet, walk-on-tiptoes years,

the years of laughter
and smiles and sighs
when both of you watch
with misty eyes
the tiny bed
where a cherub lies,

these are the rainbow years.

These are the years, the tender years,
the blissful, sweet-surrender years,

when your little treasure
from above
is the soul and purpose
and center of
your plans and dreams
and dearest love,

these are the tender years.

Thank you all for the and support! I spent some time in the hospital and our little one was born on June 18. He spent a few days in the NICU but everything has worked out fine and he was allowed to come home with us this week. We're so incredibly happy that he's doing well now. I'm still really exhausted and haven't been cleared for much activity yet but I wanted to get on and give an update, and let you know how much your words and concern have meant to me.

Thank you all again. I hope to be back around a bit more regularly soon.

I'm glad to hear that your son and yourself are both doing well, Eleanore!

I wish you all loving light, and healing energy that will make you feel better soon, Eleanore- and a healthy, happy infancy for your baby boy!

Thanks for the posts. I try to get on here as often as I can but by the time I read up on stuff I find myself out of time to post. My little guy is doing well now. 5 months old but wearing his 6 mon clothes already as his torso is so long. A 4 year old and a little one are definitely keeping me on my toes. It's nice to know no matter how much time goes by, this place still feels like a haven.

Thanks, folks!
I do check in here as often as I can but I wanted to add that I'm going back to school this semester so there goes much of my precious free time. On a brighter note, I may find myself with more interesting info at the ready for lexis and spiralling although I do hope I don't get carried away and inadvertantly attach a lexi to my assingments. Would love to write more but I'm holding my little guy and this was hard enough.

and joy to all!
