This is not at all what I expected to find but here it is anyway. Haven't checked it for errors so my apologies in advance. And Happy St. Patrick's Day, nonetheless!

Saint Patrick's Day

IS A SAINT A PRISS?
CAN I PRINT IN SIN?
CAN I DRINK IN SIN?
DRINK! IT IS A SAINT'S DAY!
I STRAIN IN SIN
DRINKS AID A CAD? AID A PRISS?
I CAN STRAY AND I CAN PRAY
STAY IN A PINK TRAP
STAY IN A CRASS TRAP
DRINK AND SAY CRAP
IN "I" IT IS DARK AND DANK; IT STAINS
STAIRS?
I SAY PRAY; RID SIN IN A SAINT

And no errors!
I have one too, but it is kind of dark too in a way, so did not post it.
Will post it when I find it.

And as you said:

. And Happy St. Patrick's Day, nonetheless!

Everyone is a student...
Learning is eternal.

SAINT PATRICK'S DAY
Anagrams to:
SATANIC KID'S PARTY.
or
SATANIC KIDS PARTY!
or
SATANIC PARTY KIDS...
or
IT RID "SNAKY ASP ACT".
or
ACT RAIDS SNAKY PIT.

Well Saint Patrick was credited with removing snakes from Ireland, which is not true.
He was against the druids and goddess religions and snakes refer to them, as his being a Christian, he saw the ones who revered the snakes as evil. http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2009/03/090316-st-patricks-day-facts.html
As for the Anagrams of Saint Patrick's day, with Satanic and Party in them, well, I would be pretty certain that Saint Patrick would not approve of the modern celebrations
concerning him, and all the wild parties and associated drinking and commercialization.

Yep, that's my thinking exactly Lex! Having a special day to revere that prick really bugs me, even more so as I am Irish, and seeing the stupid stuff that goes on over here in the "spirit" of St Paddy's Day **vomits**

I am with you on all that viewpoint.
What the Christians did to the non Christians was horrible.
And in my opinion that Patrick fellow being revered as a saint is just revolting.
Well to me the concept of saints in general is idiotic to say the least.

Additionally, as with religious writers confusing the two men known as Jesus; so the same with Patrick, blending two men's lives and promoting an image of one man when the mythical man was an amalgam of 2 men. Paul of Tarsus pulled that stunt when creating the crucifixion/crucifiction exaggerated tale and resurrection myth.
This was often done when histories are written down long after events, and sadly often done intentionally by overzealous religious fanatics.
quote:
A lecture entitled "The Two Patricks", published in 1942 by T. F. O'Rahilly, caused enormous controversy by proposing that there had been two "Patricks", Palladius and Patrick, and that what we now know of St. Patrick was in fact in part a conscious effort to blend the two into one hagiographic personality.
