Hello fellow knowflakesI was thinking about Lexigrams last night and I realised something. When I were a small child, I used to Lexigram without knowing what I was doing. I mean, I would makes as many words as I could, from one word, and put them in sentences. Little did I know there was an actual name for it. Any of you have similar experiences? IP: Logged |

My first Lexigrams came about when I was about 5 years old whilst sitting utterly bored in church in 1959 I was doodling on the back of the sermon program foldout. I noticed that GOD became DOG by simply rearranging the letters. I did not know it at the time, but I had at that moment discovered Lexigrams/Anagrams for myself! Fascinated I then began "playing" with the name: "GOD". GO GOD GO! GO DOG GO! GO OG GO! I was laughing myself silly and got slapped for it. LOL! However in that moment of a wordy/letter eureka, I was addicted to Lexigramming! I continued looking.... JESUS....has the word US in it!Later whilst visiting my Great Grandmother; my parents told her about my "playing" with the letters found in names and words. By that time I had already Lexigrammed the names of my parents and siblings. Great Grandma was utterly thrilled!♥ ♥ ♥ She brought out of the attic old antique "ANAGRAM" game boards, and Scrabble game, and helped me take my interest in Lexigramming to a higher level. I drove teachers bonkers because in school I would be doing Lexigramming rather than paying attention in classes. Oops! LOL! By time I was 7 years old in 1961 (and a sickly child, with poor eyesight...plenty of time to Lexigram) I was dreaming them, creating them in my dreams! I usually did and still have paper and pencil, or pen nearby to jot down my Lexigrams that come in dreams. We called them Lexagrams. ------------------ ~I remember, therefore I am immortal~LEXX ~The present time is theirs, but the future is mine.~Никола Тесла }><}}('>~ IP: Logged |

Yeah, in addition to Lexigraming, I argued with the minister and others over the bible even as a little kid. I got in lots of trouble. ------------------ ~I remember, therefore I am immortal~LEXX ~The present time is theirs, but the future is mine.~Никола Тесла }><}}('>~ IP: Logged |

Bad!------------------ I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are in alphabetical order, as they should be. IP: Logged |

Oh I loved arguing with them because it made them have to think! And they could not out logic me even though I was a little kid! I knew their preachings better than they did and could whip out my Bible and point things out. I was told we were not to question the word of God. I asked, so how do you know its his words? They would get all fidgety and mumble. Then oh boy, hit them with David taking foreskins as war trophies and my oh my what a furor would ensue! Suffice it to say, I drove them nutters and endured many a bloody whipping for my "why" questions and all. It was worth it! IP: Logged |
