My first Lexigram that I remember was the GOD/DOG one.

How I learned about Lexigrams!
My first Lexigrams came about when I was about 5 years old whilst sitting utterly bored in church in 1959
I was doodling on the back of the sermon program foldout.
I noticed that GOD became DOG by simply rearranging the letters. I did not know it at the time, but I had at that moment discovered Anagrams for myself!
Fascinated I then began "playing" with the name:
"GOD".
GO GOD GO!
GO DOG GO!
GO OG GO!
I was laughing myself silly and got slapped hard for it. LOL!
However in that moment of a wordy/letter eureka,
I was addicted to Lexigramming!
I continued looking....
JESUS....has the word US in it!

Later whilst visiting my Great Grandmother; my parents told her about my "playing" with the letters found in names and words. By that time I had already Lexigrammed the names of my parents and siblings.
Great Grandma was utterly thrilled!♥ ♥ ♥
She brought out of the attic old antique circa 1905 or so "ANAGRAM" game boards, and Scrabble game, and helped me take my interest in Lexigramming to a higher level.

I drove teachers bonkers because in school I would be doing Lexigramming rather than paying attention in classes. Oops! LOL!
Well I could not see the blackboard anyhow due to very bad eyesight.

By time I was 7 years old in 1961,
and a very sickly child, whom they thought would die before puberty,
and with extremely poor eyesight...
well I had plenty of time to Lexigram.
I was dreaming them, creating them in my dreams!
I usually did and still have
paper and pencil, or pen nearby to jot down my Lexigrams that came and still continue to come in dreams.
And a voice recorder nowadays.
So is it no wonder that;
♥ ♥ ♥ ERROR FREE LEXIGRAMMING IS MY SERIOUS PASSION!

I didn't even know about Star Signs, or Linda's interest in them until I acquired a computer, got internet access, and joined LindaLand in March of 2005.

That's right folks!
I was then a total computer newbie, who had just gotten a computer, and it was my first time on the internet also in that March of 2005!

Then when some folks here saw my Lexigrams they began accusing me of using generators!
I was like..
"huh? What is a generator?"

I'd been Lexigramming nearly 45 years to date, by that time,
without having ever been on a computer;
so was not using a computer program to Lexigram.

Even since having had a few strokes, which have affected my concentration, and vision acuity, I still do them by hand,
using my mind and yes,
old hard copy real printed on paper bound dictionaries and thesauri;
and only consult a generated list if I want to find words that are uncommon/archaic,
and or not in my personal mental vocabulary.
I still dream about and create Lexigrams whilst asleep,
and write down phrases which come to me in dreams,
on a note pad always kept by my bed.
I keep note pads in the bathroom to spontaneously write down Lexigram phrases as they come to me and use tape recorders also.
I finally got myself a digital recorder so that when when it is dark for any reason,
lights out, and or my eyes are glitching,
or I am in bed due to my disabilities acting up;
I can still note the Lexigram phrases that come to me.

(in addition to wonky eyes, I get total black blindness episodes; but fortunately usually just partial blindness episodes from time to time)

I have been Lexigramming and Anagramming for over 5 decades, over 1/2 a century to date.
***Update:
2017 marks 57 years so far***

I learned much from my great grandparents. Many new and other ways have come to my attention since then.
However the way I was taught,
is the easiest
and most logical,
and the only error free,
no cheating way I have yet encountered to date.
Lexigramming is also a very ancient art, or form of divination and secret coding,
going back at least a couple thousand years.
Many games of Anagramming using vintage early 1900s letter tiles and boards were a part of my childhood in the 1950s and 1960s. Scrabble was a later passion as the old Anagram games wore out from frequent use.
Boggle followed.
My partner is as passionate as I am about the art of and yes, the science and even mystery of Lexigramming and Anagramming.
He learned of them at a very young age from his grandmother, and has been doing them for over 3 1/2 decades.
So betwixt us, there is over 85 years Lexigramming and Anagramming experience.
________________________________________
***Update:
2017 marks about 95 years experience so far
between my husband and I.
In late 2019 we will have 100 YEARS COMBINED EXPERIENCE LEXIGRAMMING BETWIXT US!
AN ENTIRE CENTURY!***

I wonder if we will reach 200 years Lexigramming experience betwixt us?
It is possible!

_____________________________________
I have also in addition to Lexigramming;
have been reading dictionaries etc., for pleasure for over 57 years to date!
(as of 2017).

I have more Lexigramming experiences to tell,
so to be continued.

Yes;
have seen that site before.
A site you might like;
I do!
http://phrontistery.info/

Also:
http://www.etymonline.com/

Additionally I should clarify my stance on religion.
I was brought up by a rabid Christian;
hence my references to church etc.
I AM NOT A CHRISTIAN.
Just happened to be where I was forced as a child to be at; ie; church; bleccch/ugh.

Yale asked me to tell you much thanks for that.

Also: In retrospect, I should have simply and just once asked the community what Linda would have thought about what we are doing and why and how? Alas, we did not do so, and have very likely by now burned our bridge to some very thoughtful answers.

But the good news: In seeing where else we can find LG fans who might want to answer that question, we just came across this site. If you have not seen it before, we hope you will enjoy the etymological and cultural aspects of it...

Yes we have heard of that site before,
in 2008.
http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum7/HTML/010336.html

I bumped that thread at LLC2.
Thank you for reminding us of it.
However it has nothing to do with Lexigramming, nor the topic of this thread;
which is My Lexigramming Biography;
and not about Astrology,
nor you and your product.

As to your "True Tyme" interests'
just post on "YOUR" thread at Know Two Are Alike and on "YOUR" thread at Labors Of Love.
Both those forums are the appropriate ones
to talk about yourself.

It is impolite to hijack threads.

quote:
Labors Of Love
Career, money, work, prosperity, abundance, and Linda's Money Mystique; talk about your dreams, aspirations, and job/career--including the most magnificent labor of Love there is--that of being a parent
quote:
Know Two Are Alike
Introduce yourself to the rest of the Knowflakes and tell us as much about yourself as you wish to share, but posting of any e-mail addresses is forbidden

As long as you let folks ask you;
then start a thread with a topic of;
"To those interested in True Tyme"
or;
"Your Questions about True Tyme"

You could even post here:

quote:
Health And Healing
Rainbow diet, vegetarianism, veganism, fruitarianism, breatharianism, nutrition, herbal remedies, alternative therapies, meditation, chakras, the medical theocracy, purple plates, and the Body, Mind, and Soul connection for balanced healing; feel free to request White Light and healing for your S-elf, others, and for your pets

Folks KNOW you are here.
If they want to know more;
let them ask.
Being too pushy here will cause most folks to ignore you and some to became angry.
Yes you sound like nice folks.
I assume you mean well.....
However we at LL know very little about
"YOU".
So in essence you come across as a pushy stranger acting all lovey at us hoping to better get folks interested in your product;
sounding like an infomercial;
instead of letting us get to know you.

Also this WAS my Lexigramming Biography thread;
I feel it has now been partially hijacked.
It has definitely been steered off topic.

I will be starting a new one and closing this one.
Please do not post on my threads unless you can try to stay on topic.
This forum is about Lexigramming;
not True Tyme.

and did not intend to hijack my thread;
so I have re-opened this thread.

Also it is not necesssary to quote entire posts all the time.

Yep, the Sun Signs book on-line is great. Espcially when you can click straight on certain parts of it.
