I looked it up as Shield-Wolf.

As for the sentence:

Light, Bitter.

While experiences in life may sometimes taste bitter to the epicurean palate, they always bring True Aspiration to those in search of the Light.

Actually, to be perfectly honest, I have not found things to be Black and White.

All things work together to create the most happiness in life.

Despite appearances to the contrary.

When looking to the middle name and its meaning, I was led to a Saturn sort of placement, and it referred to "The Bitter Sea."

It is a Melancholy type of Depth, not unlike the love of a Mother. When you feel such love, it always holds the flip-side of the coin, as you are putting yourself out there to feel pain, if anything not of a positive nature should occur to the loved one.

As always, Compassion is the result.

Randy as a girl's name derives from Miranda, which means "wonderful."

I also found these alternative meanings:

Old Teutonic meaning: Shield wolf, leader of the wolf pack. If you want to take the cubs, you have to get through the Randall.

In Teutonic the meaning of the name Randal is: Wise power.

The name Randy is an American baby name. In American the meaning of the name Randy is: House wolf; protector.

Throughout it's many variations, the male given name Randall derives from 'rand'. This combination connotes 'Superior Protection' and 'Wolf Counselor'.

Randal, Anglo-Saxon, Wolf, Protector

The name can be interpreted to mean "strong protector" or "home protector."

Thanks for that Miranda one, my book didn't have that one, it said "admirable" I think.

Yeah, it was Latin, referenced Shakespeare and "The Tempest." Mira was the meaning and source of yours, also had Mirabel "of extraordinary beauty." All Latin.

I used to do full charts for everyone I did, I designed the wheel; based on one I really liked (from a LLewellyn's book, I think,) set it just the way I wanted it; did people's name meaning, numerology, set it to the Tarot Key meaning.

It was exhaustingly thorough.

About the name:

I have found you to be so.

I Honour You.

I don't like when people distort your name. Randy especially. Randy sounds small. Haha!

And everyone you love is made of stardust, and I know sometimes you cannot even breathe deeply, and the night sky is no home, and you have cried yourself to sleep enough times that you are down to your last two percent, but nothing is infinite, not even loss. You are made of the sea and the stars, and one day you are going to find yourself again.”

I think mine only had Randi in the girl section, but it was listed:

quote:
Randi
A feminine form of Randy (m) through
Randall (m);
Randolph (m.)
Randa, Randee
Randene, Randy

All of the others I wrote came from the Miranda section, and I would not have gone there.

I do agree about the name, Charmaine. As a normal case, I really do not like the shortening I see all around me, the result of the computer age generation.
