Lexx, I'm amazed at how knowledgeable you are.

I so often look up my online thesaurus for answers.

Thank you!
I have been reading dictionaries and thesauri for some 55 years to date for fun and enjoyment and of course curiosity. Before my eyesight took a bad turn after an ocular stroke;
I used to read old fashioned paper books one or more a week, sometimes as many as 7 a week on many different topics.
Things sure have changed in the past 30 to 45 years ago or so.
The internet is amazing!
Folks can literally get a free education in just about any subject.
One is never too old to learn new things!

So do I! One cannot know everything. That is why knowing where and how to get information and answers to questions is so very important! The internet definitely simplifies doing that!
I remember quite well how different things were before there were any satellites and home computers, or digital and led crystal technology. No home computers, no internet,no flat screens, no cable, no home microwaves, no calculators, and more. The days of tubes, transistors and all.
The information age and technology age we live in now is utterly amazing!
Knowledge at the tapping a keyboard! Literally at the tip of one's fingers!
It is all so utterly amazing, especially to one like myself, who remembers a far more primitive world

Well;
update:
On top of the many ills I deal with;
a diagnosis that explains some of the complications caused by progressive demylinating of nerves and my other ills.
Seems my Vagus nerve is damaged.
That is a very bad thing and bring on extraordinary agonies every few days or so, and nausea every day.
The chemotherapy anti-nausea drug helps but only with the nausea not the problem for which there is no cure.
Been bed bound more often than not.
Sigh.
OK enough on all that.
Just doing my best to keep going on despite it all.

Damage to the Vagus Nerve.
No one really knows exactly what causes it for sure, but there are many many things that may cause it.
It makes life very very very difficult.
I am afflicted with too many of the ills mentioned below. Ugh.

First off, What is the Vagus nerve?
