OK...now for the one on this thread!

A SHORT BUT REVEALING ONE FOR NOW!

Astronaut Neil Alden Armstrong
AAAADEEGILLMNNNNOORRRSSTTTU
27 letters found (17 consonants, 10 vowels).
(OR
"Commander Neil Armstrong")
AACDEEGILMMMNNNOORRRST
22 letters found (15 consonants, 7 vowels).

MAN GOES TO MOON AND AS ONE MAN ALONE, ARMSTRONG TREAD ON IT AT MOON LANDING SITE AS AN "EAGLE" SET MEN ON MOON.

UPDATE!
Another version:

THE APOLLO COMMANDER NEIL ALDEN ARMSTRONG
AAAACDDEEEEGHILLLLMMMNNNNOOOOPRRRSTT
36 letters found (23 consonants, 13 vowels).
(OR...THE APOLLO ELEVEN COMMANDER NEIL ALDEN ARMSTRONG, however eleven is not needed for this Lexigram)
AAAACDDEEEEEEEGHILLLLLMMMNNNNNOOOOPRRRSTTV
42 letters found (26 consonants, 16 vowels).

"THE EAGLE HAS LANDED!"
MAN GOES TO MOON.
THREE SPACEMEN GO TO MOON,
AND AS ONE MAN ALONE,
ARMSTRONG TREAD ON IT AT
MOON LANDING SITE,
AS AN EAGLE LANDED
AND SET MEN ON MOON,
APOLLO COMMANDER
NEIL ARMSTRONG,
SAID ALMOST THIS:

"ONE LONE MAN'S SMALL STEP IS
ONE GIANT LEAP
TO ALL MEN ON PLANET TERRA"

ARMSTRONG IS ALSO A LEO
AND AN OHIOAN MAN.
ARMSTRONG IS ALSO RETIRED.

The phrase he actually said was:
"That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind"

Which is almost found from the phrase:
THE APOLLO COMMANDER NEIL ALDEN ARMSTRONG.

"That's one small step (f)or a man, one giant leap (f)or man(k)ind"

I was intending to Lexigram Buzz Aldrin's name, but came across his mother's name and saw it yielded some intriguing phrases.
See the relevant background information after
the Lexigram of her name.

Marion Gladys Moon Aldrin

Now for the Lexigram with background

information in quotes.

Marion Gladys Moon Aldrin

MY ONLY SON IS NO LIAR!
NOR IS MY SON A LOONY!
NOR IS MOON LANDING IMAGINARY!

MY DARLING, DARING SON,
AN AIRMAN,

quote:
Buzz Aldrin (born Edwin Eugene

Aldrin, Jr., January 20, 1930 in Glen

Ridge, New Jersey) is an American

aviator and astronaut, who was the

Lunar Module Pilot on Apollo 11, the

first lunar landing. He was the

second person to set foot on the

Moon, after Mission Commander Neil

Armstrong.

A MORAL MAN,
AND ALSO A MILD MAN,
DID LAND ON MOON!
ON GRAY MOON SOIL,
A DAY ON MOON MY SON DID!
MY SON RAN ON MOON!
MY SON DID DIG ON MOON!

quote:
Six hours after landing at

4:17 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (with

less than 30 seconds of fuel

remaining), Neil A. Armstrong took

the gSmall Steph into our greater

future when he stepped off the Lunar

Module, named gEagle,h onto the

surface of the Moon, from which he

could look up and see Earth in the

heavens as no one had done before

him.

He was shortly joined by gBuzzh

Aldrin, and the two astronauts spent

21 hours on the lunar surface and

returned 46 pounds of lunar rocks.

MY DAD IS NO LAYMAN.

quote:
Buzz Aldrin was born in

Montclair, New Jersey on January 20,

1930.
His mother, Marion Gladdys Moon, was

the daughter of an Army Chaplain.
NOR IS MY ONLY SON A LAYMAN.
MY SON IS A GODLY SON!

quote:
Aldrin: After we landed on the

moon, without making a big

announcement about it, I served

myself communion because I was an

elder in the Protestant church.

MY SON, ON RISING,
ON SOL DAY,
MY GOOD SON,
A GODLY SON,
ON SOL DAY MORNING
SAID ON RADIO,
"NO NOISY",
AND DID,
AS A SOLO GODLY MAN
AN ORIGINAL GLORY
ON MOON,
ON GOD'S ONLY SON,
ON MARY MADONNA'S SON.

A SMALL GRAIL,
A LORD GOD GLORY ORALLY
MY SON DID ON MOON!
ON SOL DAY,
ON GOD'S DAY.

quote:
Aldrin had brought with him a

tiny communion kit, given him by his

church,
that had a silver chalice and wine

vial about the size of the tip of his

finger.
During the morning he

radioed, "Houston, this is Eagle.

This is the LM pilot speaking.
I would like to request a few

moments of silence.
I would like to invite each person

listening in, whoever or wherever he

may be,
to contemplate for a moment the

events of the last few hours, and to

give thanks in his own individual

way."
"In the radio blackout," he wrote

later, "I opened the little plastic

packages which contained the bread

and the wine.
I poured the wine into the

chalice our church had given me.
In the one-sixth gravity of the moon,

the wine slowly curled and gracefully

came up the side of the cup.
Then I read the Scripture, 'I am the

vine, you are the branches. Whosoever

abides in me will bring forth much

fruit.'
I had intended to read my communion

passage back to earth,
but at the last minute Deke Slayton

had requested that I not do this.
NASA was already embroiled in a legal

battle with Madelyn Murray O'Hare,

the celebrated opponent of religion,
over the Apollo 8 crew reading from

Genesis while orbiting the moon at

Christmas.
I agreed reluctantly..." "Eagle's

metal body creaked. I ate the tiny

Host and swallowed the wine.
I gave thanks for the intelligence

and spirit that had brought two young

pilots to the Sea of Tranquility.
It was interesting for me to think:

the very first liquid ever poured on

the moon,
and the very first food eaten there,

were the communion

elements."
ALAS,
SADLY,
MANY A MAN DID DISDAIN MY SON,

quote:
he recieved ridicule once his

communion was made public

SAYING MY SON IS
A LOONY,
AN ODD MAD MAN,

quote:
The UFO and Apollo hoax

allegations

In 2005, while being interviewed for

a documentary titled First on the

Moon: The Untold Story, Aldrin told

an interviewer that they saw an

unidentified flying object.

quote:
On September 9, 2002,

filmmaker Bart Sibrel, a proponent of

the Apollo moon landing hoax

theory, confronted Aldrin outside

a Beverly Hills, California hotel.

Sibrel called Aldrin "a coward, a

liar, and a thief," saying "You're

the one who said you walked on the

moon and you didn't". Aldrin

punched Sibrel in the face. Beverly

Hills police and the city's

prosecutor declined to file charges.

Sibrel suffered no permanent

injuries.

quote:
Buzz Aldrin was called a liar

by those who believe the moon landing

was a hoax. He was also ridiculed for

claiming to have seen a UFO whilst

orbiting the moon.
More controversy about his being a

Christian and the communion he took

on the moon also ensued.

A DOGMAS' MAN,
IN DOING GLADLY
A GLORY ON GOD
AND GOD'S SON.
IN DOING A ROSARY..
AND SAYING,
A DOMINO GLORIOSO
ON MOON.

quote:
Aldrin is a Presbyterian, and

is known for his statements about

God.

NOR IS MY SON A GLORY ID MAN!

quote:
Much has been said about

Aldrin's desire at the time to be the

first astronaut to walk on the moon.

[6] Differing NASA accounts have it

that he had originally been proposed

as the first, but the configuration

of the lunar module was changed, or

that protocol demanded that the

commander (Armstrong) be the first.

(In addition, in a March 1969 meeting

between senior NASA personnel Deke

Slayton, George Low, Bob Gilruth, and

Chris Kraft, it was suggested that

Armstrong be the first partly because

Armstrong was seen as not having a

large ego.)

ADORINGLY, ADMIRINGLY,
I MAY ADD,
MY SON IS NO DISMAY.
MY SON IS ALSO A MASON.

quote:
Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin - Apollo

11 - First Mason on the Moon

On July 20th, 1969 Aldrin followed

Armstrong down the ladder to be the

second man on the moon because he was

farthest from the door of the Lunar

Module "Eagle". Aldrin was a member

of Montclair Lodge No. 144 of New

Jersey EDSEL

MY ONLY SON DID GO,
AND LAND ON MOON!
A DAY ON MOON MY SON DID!

http://www.snopes.com/fact-check/buzz-aldrin-mother-moon/

Every now and again, the internet comes across the mind-blowing fact that Buzz Aldrin, the American astronaut who was one of the first people to walk on the surface of the moon, was born to a woman whose maiden name was Moon.

This is true.

Aldrin has mentioned this fact in a few of his autobiographical books. In the 2005 book gReaching for the Moon,h for example, he writes that he may have been destined to travel to the moon because of his motherfs maiden name.

quote:
On summer nights the Moon hung low in the sky, so close to our house that I thought I could reach out and touch the soft white light. I never imagined that one day I would walk on its surface. But maybe it was meant to be. You see, before she was married, my motherfs last name was moon.

In the 1973 book gReturn to Earth,h he wrote:

quote:
Her name was Marion Gladys Moon until the day in the Philippines when she married my father, who at the time was a dashing aide to General Billy Mitchell.

Aldrin has referenced his motherfs maiden name on several other occasions. During an interview with The New York Times, he joked that the name Marion Moon may have given him an advantage during the astronaut-selection process:

In a New York Times interview he was asked:

quote:
Was your motherfs maiden name really Marion Moon?

quote:
Yes. I didnft feel NASA needed to know that. Somebody would think I was trying to get favored treatment because my ancestors had the name Moon. And thatfs a joke.

Marion Gladys Moon Aldrin died on May 27th. 1968 at the age of 64.

Her son went to the moon in July 1969,;
a little over a year after her death.

Sadly she did not live to actually see her son make history.😞

Today 5️⃣3️⃣
years ago
this happened😎💞
Moon landing😎😎😎
I was 14 and a 1/2 years old😎
I had to hear it because TV was not available in all areas in my youth.
Good old fashioned crystal radio.
People born later than like 1980 have no concept of how things were back then.
People going to the moon and walking on it😳😎
At a time when there were no cordless phones. no cellphones, no internet, no home computers.
Folks who did have television had usually little black and white screens with a huge heavy tube.
Oh and no home microwave ovens.
And the list goes on.
So men landing on the moon was like magic and
and we had no words for the deep awe we were all having😎💞
Oh yeah no pocket calculators either.
Actually absolutely no digital or LED tech in existence yet.👽
Tech was still on the realm of tubes. transistors and such.

Apollo 11
Main article: Apollo 11
On the morning of July 16, 1969, an estimated one million spectators watched the launch of Apollo 11 from the highways and beaches in the vicinity of Cape Canaveral, Florida. The launch was televised live in 33 countries, with an estimated 25 million viewers in the United States alone. Millions more listened to radio broadcasts. Propelled by a Saturn V rocket, Apollo 11 lifted off from Launch Complex 39 at the Kennedy Space Center on July 16, 1969, at 13:32:00 UTC (9:32:00 EDT), and entered Earth orbit twelve minutes later. After one and a half orbits, the S-IVB third-stage engine pushed the spacecraft onto its trajectory toward the Moon. About thirty minutes later, the transposition, docking, and extraction maneuver was performed: this involved separating the command module Columbia from the spent S-IVB stage, turning around, and docking with lunar module Eagle. After the lunar module was extracted, the combined spacecraft headed for the Moon, while the rocket stage flew on a trajectory past the Moon.

Aldrin stands on the Moon. Armstrong and the Lunar Module Eagle are reflected in his visor.

Aldrin's first words after he set foot on the Moon
On July 19 at 17:21:50 UTC, Apollo 11 passed behind the Moon and fired its service propulsion engine to enter lunar orbit. In the thirty orbits that followed, the crew saw passing views of their landing site in the southern Sea of Tranquillity about 12 miles (19 km) southwest of the crater Sabine D.[71] At 12:52:00 UTC on July 20, Aldrin and Armstrong entered Eagle, and began the final preparations for lunar descent. At 17:44:00 Eagle separated from the Columbia.[69] Collins, alone aboard Columbia, inspected Eagle as it pirouetted before him to ensure the craft was not damaged and that the landing gear had correctly deployed.

Throughout the descent, Aldrin called out navigation data to Armstrong, who was busy piloting the Eagle.[74] Five minutes into the descent burn, and 6,000 feet (1,800 m) above the surface of the Moon, the LM guidance computer (LGC) distracted the crew with the first of several unexpected alarms that indicated that it could not complete all its tasks in real time and had to postpone some of them.[75] The Eagle landed at 20:17:40 UTC on Sunday July 20 with about 25 seconds of fuel left.
