Will you believe we have 2 Daffodils who have just bloomed!!! Yesterday my Mom trimmed the Plum Tree and we noticed already the buds are peeking out a teeny bit of green!!! WOW! It hasn't been warm or anything, I mean it's been pretty cold and we've had a lot of rain. This weekend it's gorgeous, nice and sunny, and about 60-ish in the sun. At night it drops back to 40. Anyhow just thought it's kind of interesting considering it's only January. IP: Logged |

You're so lucky, Nephthys! I haven't seen a trace of a flower yet but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. ------------------ "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." - Ghandi IP: Logged |

Randall,Yes, most of the other Daffodils all bloomed. The Freesia has come up, all the greens are up but no flowers yet. The Roses have started to bloom flowers also. I have a new appreciation for where I live. It is so gorgeous here; everything is green, the trees are so magnanimous, lush and colorful (yes, that's actually a word!). I guess I am noticing/appreciating things more now, since I am so much happier in my new life. I really appreciate and thank the Universe for everything I have now!!!!! IP: Logged |

Randall,That's really great that you're having Spring/Summer-like weather!!!! We had some nice sunny weather a few weeks ago and now we're having rain and clouds. Which is fine, because everything needs rain. We live in a Chapparrel. Which means that we have wet winters and long, dry summers. It is the exact same weather as the Mediteranean. I learned this in my Biology class when we were learning about Biomes. IP: Logged |
